All Imps in Gods Unchained and 9 more.
Cover made using images and elements from Gods Unchained.
While checking out some cards on this Gods Unchained website, this time Imps caught my eye, so in this post I will focus on cards that have Imp in their name or have Imp-based effects or summon any Imps.
Imps are what are commonly known as little demons who like to cause trouble and play pranks. Some of them are servants of witches and warlocks.
Those little Imps were the inspiration for creating some cards in Yugioh and Magic the Gathering.

Let's start with the Imps that cost 1 mana:

Increase the cards in your deck when you summon this Imp, shuffling two random nethers into your deck. | This Imp has a very simple effect, it only deals 1 damage to a random enemy character when destroyed, so this card is not a good addition to any deck for now. | This Imp is very special since you cannot add it to your deck, it can only be summoned by effects. |
Now, the 4 Imps that cost 2 mana.

It can reach up to 3/4 stats if the opponent has a relic equipped, it would be better if the stats gained are due to your relic equipped. | This card can inflict 3 damage to the opponent's god if you have an Impling in your possession. The only creature that makes use of an Impling. |

Wicked Fae can be really useful, as its effect can destroy creatures even if they have armor. In addition, it summons a little Impling. | This Imp is the most used in War aggro decks, it can attack any enemy character when summoned, and causes your god to take damage when this imp attacks, but it is worth it. |
There are three Imps that cost 3 mana:

Take advantage if your god has 15 health or more to summon two 1/1 Implings at the end of the turn. I've never seen this card in battle. | It has low stats for a 3 mana creature. It summons a 1/1 Impling when defeated, but it's still useless. | I kinda liked this one, since it can attack any creature when summoned, but it would be much better if it had Godblitz. |
There are four creatures that cost 4 mana.

The only legendary card on the list, it has many methods to summon Implings, such as when it attacks or any creature is summoned. Unfortunately, this card has low stats and will be defeated very easily. | I don't see this creature in any battles, but its effect is not bad at all, it gives +2/+2 to a creature. Maybe with some cards that trigger its ability it would become meta. |

This card summons more Implings, each time that this creature survives damage. | Its manasurge effect is really good, but it's very hard to get it to take effect since you need 9 mana. It is the only deception Imp. |
Now the 2 creatures of 6 mana cost that summon Implings.

This mammoth creature summons more Implings when any god is damaged. It could be trigger many times. | This one just summons an Impling when it is defeated, it is a very simple effect for a 6 mana creature and therefore will not be played. |
Finally, the only relic and spell that summons Implings.

This relic summons an Impling when the turn ends, up to a max of 5 by default. It would be better if it summoned two instead of one. | This spell can summon up to a max of 6 Implings in exchange for your god's health. Hopefully, they won't be destroyed next turn. |
And those were the 18 cards with Imp in their name or that summon Imps.
One thing those cards have in common is that they like to summon Implings, but unfortunately there are no cards that buff them, or take advantage of them in any way, except for Nightveiled. Therefore, they are not a viable option for building a deck based in Imps currently.
So I decided to create some custom cards on this website: https://www.gucustom.cards/, these will improve the Imps and make them a solid deck.

I decided to have most of them summon Implings like many official Imps do, and others get stats based on them. The objective of this deck is to send many Implings as possible into the void, in order to eliminate the opponent god with Dragonus Imp, who has Godblitz and becomes powerful depending on how many Implings are in your void.
Additionally, these cards will damage your god when played, creating the idea that you have to sacrifice something in order to summon these little demons.

What do you think of the cards I've created based on Imps? Do you like the design, the effects, or are they just bad?
That's all for now guys. See you next time, take care.
I think there is potential for a new Imp archetype! 😄

I'm sure they can be in the future. 😁

I like this Dragonus idea. let me accumulate more imps and try it.
I was thinking of creating a strong warrior imp but in the end I thought a Dragonus would be better :P
