Advancing to Gold III this season in Splinterlands
Hey everyone, this season in Splinterlands, I managed to advance to Gold III in my account: langice (currently it's the only account I'm playing since it has more soulbound cards).
By advancing to Gold III, I got 7 minor chests and 4 rare chests. Unfortunately, I didn't get any epic or legendary cards, but I did at least get a rare card, Quilliun Legionary, which I currently have at level 7, and which works much better in ranged battles.
I currently have Ujurak Brave at max level (10), but it's nice to have more of this card, either to burn them and get Glint, which will help me open more chests, or other cool rewards. Or I can use them in survival mode, which is unfortunately temporarily disabled this season, but hopefully wil work normally next season.
I would need 21 more Quilliuns Legionary to level it up to the max level. It's already pretty good at level 7, able to attack from the first position as a ranged unit. It also has the thorns ability, which deals 2 physical damage to melee units that attack it. Additionally, it has the Void ability, which allows it to take reduced damage from magic attacks by 50% (rounded up).
Once I level Quilliun up to the max, it will gain the Bloodlust ability, which will allow it to get +1 to all stats every time it defeats an enemy unit, making it stronger.
Now, I'm close to advancing to Gold II, where 8 minor chests and 5 rare chests await for me. Hopefully, I will get a legendary card, and who knows, maybe it could be a gold foil, which would be my first soulbound gold legendary card. Wish me luck :P
