Multi-tasking while playing Splinterlands
Source with some 'MS Paint' text added on top
Splinterlands as a game doesn't require complete total focus to play... Or maybe it does and I'm just doing it wrong! But while I participate in playing the dApp I'll usually pull up recent videos or podcasts of subjects I am currently researching/interested in and listen to them while I play.
What to do while I wait?
Even though the wait timer isn't long I want to try and use my time efficiently.
I'll often check out what's happening on Youtube with NFTs, Generative A.I., and Virtual(Gaming) Photography:
Because any searches for 'Cryptocurrency' or 'Blockchain' leads to people trying to 10x a coin
Or look at the Podcast library to see what actual news is happening concerning Blockchain, Cryptocurrency, and NFTs(Again).
Podcasts tend to have actual news/updates concerning these subjects
Even if it's relatively small updates on these topics I feel like this is a good method to keep myself 'educated' while I play Splinterlands!
No judging! Names hidden to protect players
Though maybe if I focused more on the game my win/lost ratio might be doing better...
So that's what I do while playing Splinterlands. If there's anybody else who multitasks while they play, please leave a comment! I would like to read how you multi-task while playing.
That's all for this post. Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoyed!
Disclaimer: I don't endorse any of the videos/podcasts shown, I took screenshots from what popped up on Youtube and the Fountain App searches.

I listen to podcasts about AI, Web3, Podcasting when I'm doing other things around the house or out and about. When I'm playing Splinterlands, I either have no audio on or I listen to the game music.
