Tree-lined streets flanked by mid-rise buildings: some understated hotels, others homes with balconies leaning over sidewalks. Older houses stand alongside contemporary structures, all just steps away from the main avenue that cuts across the city east to west.

The humid air lingers in every frame. It's a neighborhood both tranquil and commercially vibrant. The proximity to the National University and convention centers shows in the constant flow of students, their movement infusing these streets with an energy that makes Bogotá feel, at least here, undeniably young.

El aire húmedo envuelve cada imagen. Es un barrio tranquilo pero con ritmo comercial. La cercanía a la Universidad Nacional y de los complejos feriales se nota en el ir y venir de jóvenes, dando a estas calles una energía que al menos aquí, Bogotá se siente joven.
