Itikaf And Last 10 Days About Holy Month Of Ramadan
Hello Hive Learners Community! Welcome to my blog. In many religions, there are specific months that are auspicious for their followers.
Disclaimer:
This post has many Religious Aspects about Muslims. If you don't like then you can skip it. Otherwise, I have shared a beautiful topic about Islam.
Being a Muslim, I have decided to explore Itikaf (the most sacred and holy service for the Muslims in the whole world). As you know, Ramadan is the 9th Lunar Month in the Muslim Calendar. During this whole month, all Muslims from the whole world not only fasted but also did their best to please God by doing Charity as well as holding special prayers in the Mosque. I've also Alhamdulillah fasting for the last twenty days, and it is my 21 the 21st Iftar I have done successfully. My today topic is not only religious but also informative for the Hive Community as well.
Itikaf
The holy month of Ramadan is divided into three decades. The first decade is known for getting Mercy from God. The second decade is known for securing forgiveness from God. And the last and third decade is known as probing refuge from God. Currently, we have the last decade of Ramadan.
In this decade, Muslims from the Whole World decided to sit in a Mosque for 10 days. They disconnected their connection with the other world and offered special prayer by sitting in a specific corner of the mosque. The last 10 days are very significant for the Muslim Community as the last prophet Muhammad SAW has said,
"Seek Laylat al-Qadr in the last ten nights of Ramadan."
(Sahih al-Bukhari 2017, Sahih Muslim 1169)
Laylat al-Qadir is the night of power in Islam when the 1st verses of the Holy Quran were expressed to the Last Prophet Muhammad SAW through Angel Jibril (A.S). Moreover, any prayer or any offering on this night is thousands of times more precious than any prayer we normally do in other months. To seek mercy from God and to have Laylat al-Qadir, millions of Muslims sit in the Mosque for the last decade of the Holy Month of Ramadan.
Being a Muslim, it is my 2nd day in the Mosque, and I also decided to offer precious prayer, Itikaf. My all focus is to please God and learn more about Islam. I spent my time offering Darood Shareef 5 times Prayers, Reciting the Holy Quran, as well as studying Islamic Books. Sometimes, I learned some Islamic aspects from the Application Islam 360. If you are Muslim and want to learn more about Islam then this application will help you a lot.
Final Thoughts
During the sacred proceedings of Itikaf, I'm to spend my time in the Islamic Environment. I not only do fasting but also do other prayers to get Mercy and pleasing from God. We all make mistakes, do sins, and forget the straight pathway for Humanity. During this special offering, we not only repent over sins but also pure our hearts with the true spirit of Islam. During Itikaf, I'm praying to God for the peace of the World. The flag of humanity will always be uplifted higher and higher. We should spread love, keep others happy, and do our best to seek mercy from God. Thanks!
