Hello Hive Learners Community! Welcome to my blog. Whether it is gambling, or it is betting, they both are harmful and have damaged many people in the world. There are very few people who have secured money and got the status of Millionaire by Gambling or betting; otherwise, a lot of people have lost their wealth and committed suicide due to financial stress. In many countries, there are many applications available where gambling is a very hot subject to earn money. Whether it is a practical life or a virtual world, Gambling is toxic for a happy life. Better we should believe in our hard work instead of wasting money on some freaky applications to be a millionaire within a few days.

Should Gambling/Betting illegal?

As they both have a bad history and have examples of damaging people instead of benefiting, hence they should be illegal. A Gambler steals money from many people. His tricks were not magical but were enough to make people snatch money from them. I have witnessed very bad examples regarding this that I'm going to share.

In Lahore, there are hidden Casino Clubs where gambling and betting cases are very common. One of the members, I don't want to mention his name, joined Casino Clubs. His friends forced him to play Casino because he had good luck. He not only won but also returned all the loans that his friends had lost some months ago. He became a favorite player in no time. One day, he bet all his property and bank cash with another player. Unfortunately, he lost everything. After accepting his defeat, he was unable to control his nerves and committed suicide. He had two kids and believed me; who would take their responsibilities? It is not a sole example there are many more in practical life where gamblers commit suicide after losing everything.

Similarly, my cousin invited me to the Teen Patti Game online game. I have been a good player in Poker. Anyway, I joined and was sure I would win. A winner can't remain a winner always. I got addicted to playing this game and lost about 3 Lacs. My mother fought with me when I shared my story with her.

From both examples, it is clear that whether it is gambling or it is betting both are not good when you have family. You should avoid playing online games.

Due to these incidents, I promised God not to be involved in any gambling activity. Being a Muslim, I strongly believe that both gambling and betting are illegitimate. My religion strongly discouraged them and referred to them as big sins. I hope God will forgive me for these mistakes, and I shall not play them in my next life.

Gambling and Betting should be illegal because many applications have a lot of manipulations. Moreover, we can't ignore the long-term impacts on our families. In a betting game, one person wins and takes money while the other loses. We can't measure the loss of others how they had arranged money. Gambling and Betting, for me, are crimes, and sometimes they lead to other sins. Many people have a bad addiction and they arrange money from any source to play. As they both have damaged the creativity and abilities of our young generation, we should stop and discourage people who are involved. We all have greed. Many times, I have witnessed money gambling cases in Asia. App developers launched online games. Only a few people take benefits while thousands of people lost their wealth. Instead, we should promote legitimate businesses that can help us get Wealth steadily.
