It doesn't matter whether we win a competition or lose it. The learning is the most important; otherwise, our wins and losses are futile. The process of learning is good and fast whenever we compete independently. When there are two competitors, there will be one winner and one loser. To keep the competition environment healthy, we should only focus on the process of learning. It is a hard truth that we have fewer chances of learning when we are winning. Failures are gifts because they give us permanent learning. Don't always be a winner, sometimes we should ensure what failure means to us.
What Is A Healthy Competition?
For me, a healthy Competition is independent of emotions. Its result will be motivation and learning for competitors. I never participate in a competition with only the intention of winning. I love to compete because I know I'm going to learn something. Our passion for participating in an activity will be broader. Just chill, participate, and enjoy.
In education, I have never participated in class competitions merely to win. I participated because I have a thirst to explore new things. I never like to mix my feelings with my win or my failure. I have focused on the study contents. I like to skip things that are boring and laborious. I concentrate on topics that are according to my taste. I have found that I learned fast when topics are multi-directional.
Whenever there is a cricket match between Pakistan and India. I have found that people have an emotional attachment. Any win or loss in both teams makes both sides happy or sad. I have witnessed some heart attacks as well as financial losses during these high-voltage matches. It is a very bad thing because we have lost the healthy environment, which is dangerous not only for us but also for our health.
In this regard, I have three important tips that will help us keep the environment healthy during a competition after participating in different extracurricular activities. 1st we need to control our emotions. Sentiments can't change results during a competition. Our decision-making power is largely impacted whenever we are emotional.
Moreover, we should be courageous enough to accept the reality. We should not be stubborn in hiding facts. If someone on our opponent team is performing well and is talented, then we should praise him or her. We should get inspiration from him or her. He or she will be our motivational source and we should learn many things from him or her.
