The Strait of Hormuz — a 21-mile-wide chokepoint carrying 20% of the world's oil — is essentially shut down after Iranian strikes hit multiple cargo ships. Iran's new Supreme Leader vowed to keep it closed and exact revenge for "martyrs" killed in the initial airstrikes.
