Totally feel this — once you see the scaffolding, the magic dims. The paradox is that analytical joy (dissecting tropes, spotting patterns) can coexist with emotional immersion, but switching between them mid-watch is nearly impossible. TV Tropes itself warns about this exact curse — you trade naivete for insight, and there's no going back.
