What I want when I grow up. Sb-chronicles propmt#22

Good day hivers. I hope you're all doing good. Since I was a child I was always ask what I want to be when I grow up. In school, at home and even relatives would always ask this.
Back then I always want to be a teacher. I just like to teach children. Looking at my teacher I also want to do the same. I even make my lesson plan coz I heard from my teacher that she needed to finish her lesson plan to be check by our principal the next day that's she didn't get enough sleep.. When I play with my siblings, I also act as a teacher.

Photo from my daughter's classroom.
When I graduated from primary and proceed to secondary passion change. This time I want to be a businesswoman. I was thinking that time that if you do business you would gain a lot of money. Getting rich is easy😁. When I finished my secondary and want to enroll in university my father suggested to take a medical course. Nursing for there's someone that would sponsor my studies. That time I just want to decide on my own. I ended up taking Bachelor in commerce and planned to take banking and finance as major. Things make a sudden turn which landed me to where I am today. When I'm working here my passion in caregiving suddenly appear. I enrolled in caregiving course and my passion for it grew bigger. I remember when I was doing my OJT in one of the hospital and was assigned in demented patient. I enjoyed taking care of them though most of the time they would test your patience. There are times that my friend was pulled by one of them and refused to let go😬. With some staff intervention he finally gave in and let her go.

When we graduated we enrolled in volunteering in one of the homes. We were given our schedule but that's when the COVID struck. We were stuck at home and the plan for volunteering was set aside. Put on hold and until now it didn't resumed. My passion on that field remains and I did caregiving job to my boss father who were demented.

Looking back my passion could be truly in this field. I could have followed my father's suggestion to take up nursing but those days were really confusing. I'm still not sure what I want to be and just go on with the flow.
This is my participation in this week's challenge When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up
I think everyone wanted to be a teacher when still young. Eventually changed after realizing there are a lot of options ,😆
Even my daughter last time I heard her talking she wants to be a teacher😁😆
You wanted to be a teacher 😦
I just don't have a license but yeah, supposed to be a teacher 😆
Hehe teacher les!
Ever since I was a child I never dream to become a teacher, my dream was to become a soldier, but when I was in my Junior Secondary Schoomyself I told myself that I want to become a doctor to safe life, later when I was in my Senior Secondary School instead of me going to science department I went to Art department when I discovered I didn't have the ability to become a doctor. The reason why I went for Art department was because I told myself I will become a lawyer 😂😂😂, but here I am reading Sociology in school😂😂😂. Maybe you can still enroll for the nursing just kine your dad told you.
Hehehe, we changed for the more practical one. The one that is easier for us😁. Now I don't think I have the urge to study some more😬😆
A teacher eh, well the caring course that is something I expected but it is funny what we end up doing.
You have a great kind soul and would be awesome with whatever you do...
Hehehe, thank you♥️. Back then it never crossed my mind to do this kind of job😌😁
Ah well, knowing you, it is so much in your character
Until now there are times that I still can't decide what I want😛😌
And you still don't know what you want 🤣🤣
You've had so many ideas in mind. The important thing is that you finally find something you truly love. Thanks for sharing, my dear @asiaymalay. Warmest regards from Maracay.
Thank you @irvinc I didn't realize my true passion until I didn't leave my country😁
All seem to help others which is good. Well maybe not the business women. I was a bit all over the place. I first wanted to be a pilot. Maybe the movie Top Gun influenced me. I later joined the Air Force but not for that. In high school, before deciding on the military I thought of being a photographer. When attending college while in the military I thought about being an accountant. I took all business classes and graduated. Life happened dreams shattered and ended up doing something familiar I did in the military for the Air Force but as a civilian, haha. Feel too old and invested now especially considering I can retire in 5 years. Well can live and hope the son does better now 🤣
Hehehe, confused and distracted back then. Wasted so much time and still cannot figure out what we really want.😬. Been so long since your last blog. Join the initiative 😁😛
