LOH 244. My house with a garden.
Hello hivers. I hope everyone is good😁.
I remember before when I passed along the road and I see different kinds of plants whether it's flowering or not, I would wish I can also grow it in my house. Sometimes I would try to break some branch and try to grow it when I reach home. When I would go to my friends house I would ask for some of their plants. I like to grow crotons plant before. They are easy to grow. I just break some branch and plant it. I like to see it align in our backyard like a fence. Until now the crotons that I planted before are still there in the place where our house stood before. I also tried different flowers. Only the hibiscus survived. Most of them are eaten by worms or snails. Nowadays my mother is the one doing the gardening. It all started during COVID. Maybe got nothing to do that she suddenly turn her attention on growing and planting flowers.
Here's some of her plants in the backyard.
Though they don't look that good at least they are surviving. My mother don't look after them that much coz she's kinda busy looking after her grandson. Sending him to school and staying there until the class is dismissed. I feel tired for her honestly🥵.
Aside from this plants my father has his vegetable garden. He got a green thumb in planting. He can grow them easily. I remember back then when he do marcotting in some of the fruit bearing tress. He always do that in Chico tree (sapodilla).
I saw how he would cut it when he knows it can already grow by itself. Here's some of his plants.
Some photos are credit by @lhes 😌😌
There's also some medicinal plants that grow in our backyard. One of it is we called alibhon. (Blumea balsamifera) Also known as sambong. Same with the bitter gourd leaves. Old folks said it is good for cough. I used to drink it when I was a child. It was very bitter and my mother mix a bit of sugar to it to balance the taste. They also boil the leaves in water together with other herbs then let it cool down and mix it in the water that would use to bath when you just gave birth. You will bath in this water. They said it would help to heal you physically and recover your strength.
This plants are easy to grow. They don't need much attention. Only my mother's plants that needs watering during summer. The rest, they let nature do it's part. 😁😬.
I would like my house to have a garden and surrounded by trees prior to LOH prompt this week. Are you one of those who prefers a house with or without a garden? Do you like plants? What do you do to take care of them? By @marivic10
I like plants and I do admire them and even talk to them once in a while. The same goes with the mini garden in the balcony.
Hehehe. See you around♥️.

I love a garden but they are work 🤣
Now I like to just go for a walk or to the park!
Your parents both have green thumbs. One thing about home grown vegetables is that they are so tasty!
Plenty of green, I am not so sure I would like drinking some of these drinks you talk about!
It's like a torture before. Whenever our mother makes us drink it🥵. We don't have a choice back then otherwise you would receive whooping😤.
I am also not into growing plants anymore. They become fussy nowadays😬😁.
What a lovely glimpse into your family's garden! 💖 It's awesome how your mom got into gardening during the pandemic ☺️ Your dad has a real talent for growing things, especially with that Chico tree! ✨ It's also fascinating to learn about the medicinal plants like alibhon; it sounds like your backyard is a little pharmacy too! ☺️
Hehehe. Thank you♥️. Unlike me I find it hard to grow plants sometimes. The more I pamper them, the more they die😬😁.
This posts brought me back when I was much younger and smaller. My father had a huge garden with many vegetables and fruits. I wish I could start my own. I have thought about it but I know it takes time and dedication to it. This is where I would fail, haha. I have a hard enough time attending to the lawn 😆

Choose a plant that doesn't need much attention. Just plant it and let nature handle it. 😛😁
You mean like the Charlie Brown Christmas tree? 😆
Yes, just shove it on the ground and let it live😆😬
Ohh, you're like Mama, sya naman when we'll visit the park, huhugot sya ng kung akong halaman dun sabay itatanim sa bahay hahaha. Some if our plants actually from there hahaha. And kulit. Loo. And its cool na buhay pa yong plants na tinanim mo. Having a garden is really fun. Kapag lumaki sila you can just look at them and remember those moments na tinanim mo sila ✨💃
Kaya nga. Maalala mo Yung time. Back when the days😁. Mahal din Kasi Pg bibili Ka Ng halaman para itanim SA bakuran. Kaya pipitas na Lang Kung Merong pwede😬
Thank you @hivepakistan 😁😁

Cannot imagine living without a garden, some plants don't last or plant quite the way you planned. Now I don't move them around as much as I used to, find the right spot and hope for the best.
With water restrictions nearly all my garden is indigenous, serving the insects and butterflies more often than not.

It seems that the garden is part of our life. We also don't disturb them anymore once they are planted and growing. Better leave them alone and let them have their peace😁♥️
Yan ang tunay na garden sis! Punong-puno ng iba't-ibang tanim. Gusto ko yung maraming kahoy sa paligid. Super green thumb ang father nyo💖
