     This ASEAN Hiver was NEARLY COOKED ALIVE while on vacation at the Wee Boyle Yuu resort in Vietnam. What looks like a nice warm soak can lead to you becoming soup as the heat is slowly increased.

     It's one of the oldest tricks in the book, just like the frog that doesn't know it's being boiled until it's too late. Well luckily this guy realized what was going on and got out of the barrel before becoming dinner.

     OREO'S NEWEST EMPLOYEE is one of our very own ASEAN Hivers, and she (@janicetan) has been tasked with researching Borneo's dessert and snacking habits. Sometimes undercover and sometimes not, she has been slowly documenting the flavors of this island.

     Rumor has it that Oreo has been experimenting with a new sandwich style cookie for this unique market. After their orangutan flavored cookie was a major failure, they decided to hire local help to better understand the market. I think it's safe to say Oreo's future in Borneo is now in far better hands.

     MEAT FRISBEES were recently invented in Thailand by this ASEAN Hiver, and they have been so useful that the government is considering giving this man Thai citizenship in honor of this contribution to society.

     Some questions have not been answered yet. How many times can you throw a meat frisbee? Are they easily contaminated? Should meat frisbees be kept refrigerated? Who are meat frisbees for? There are so many questions, but local dogs only seem interested in catching them mid-flight.
