🎩 Formal Etiquette Is A Must 🤵♂️

I'm not big fan of formal etiquette, but in certain situations it is a necessary tool to impress fellow VIPs. Growing up on a farm in Indiana, there was no need for formal etiquette because that is mostly the for the coasts like people from New York and California. However, after moving to Cambodia I quickly realized how much wealth and how many VIPs there are here, but I rarely interact with them because there is alternate reality for the elite Cambodian class.

We now have a formal etiquette instructor, a dedicated classroom, and a small library filled with formal etiquette literature, so now we all can learn what to do with all those weird forks and how to pretend to care about wine quality. It may not be fun to wear uncomfortable clothes and go to shoulder-to-shoulder with non-ASEAN Hive elite, but sometimes we need off-Hive VIPs to help us get certain things done. Enjoy these five posts from each of our VIP tiers, and don't forget to lift a pinky when drinking your tea.

I'm having less and less patience towards certain things as I get older
by: @gooddream - ASEAN HIVE VIP DIAMOND(ᴇxᴄᴇʀᴘᴛ) I see myself turning into "grumpy old man" more and more as the years pass by. I am not even that old yet although I am "past the hump" as far as life is concerned. If we are lucky and take care of ourselves, we are all fortunate to see the years past 80 and I am more than halfway to 80 already. I'm not really that old, and I live a youthful existence, but I have found that certain things annoy me a tremendous amount as I get older that I probably would have just shrugged off in my earlier years.

"Lovely" Da Nang is starting to wear at me with its "same-ness"
by: @gabe.radke - ASEAN HIVE VIP 💿 PLATINUM(ᴇxᴄᴇʀᴘᴛ) I do my fair share of bitching about this city that I have called home for around 6 years but this isn't just some jaded opinion of someone that likes to complain about things. This city really isn't that magnificent at all. Sure there is a beach here but it really isn't that good. Combine this with the fact that you aren't allowed to swim outside of approved areas and it just annoys me. In other places if I want to go for a swim you just go for a swim.

Friday morning market
by: @newhope1988 - ASEAN HIVE VIP 👑 GOLD(ᴇxᴄᴇʀᴘᴛ) This morning at 8:00 AM, after sending the children off to school, I returned home and took my mother-in-law out to the market this morning, Friday. The morning market doesn't seem to have many shops, but that's not our main problem. Because we only intend to buy pork. When we arrived at the morning market, we went straight to the butcher shop in the shophouse that specialized in selling pork.

Recipe for cooking chicken bones with ankor dal
by: @lota34 - ASEAN HIVE VIP 🥈 SILVER(ᴇxᴄᴇʀᴘᴛ) Today I came with a recipe. Today I will share a different kind of recipe. Today's recipe is the recipe for cooking chicken bones with ankor dal. We don't eat this recipe very often. This recipe was made a long time ago. Found this by searching today's gallery. So I thought to share this recipe today. In fact, I am only checking updates on social media every now and then and I can't do anything about the situation in the country. Really feel bad for these siblings who were killed and injured.

Durian Season
by: @meeko92 - ASEAN HIVE VIP 🥉 BRONZE(ᴇxᴄᴇʀᴘᴛ) Finally it's durian season again in Malaysia and this is just the beginning of the season. They said this is the king of fruits because of it's strong and pungent smell. Once I wasn't used to the smell and taste when I first tasted durian. Still remember my dad brought back a packet of Musang King all the way back from Kuala Lumpur. That was my first time trying it. It tasted more to the bitter side than sweet and from what I still remember it had some bruises on the durian flesh.
