This post is a little later than normal as I struggle to catch up because a good friend came to visit. We went hiking, enjoyed campfires, and other things I haven't done in far too long. Well, now that the fun is over I'm playing curation catch-up, so please bear with me the next few days. Either way there are always some underserved posts I'd like to highlight.

Our first post contains some pretty incredible shots taken from behind the wheel, then we head over to Borneo for some ~~nature~~ highway traffic jams, not something typically associated with this sparsely populated island. After that it's off to the Philippines where one of our ASEAN Hivers just finished building a new fish pond. Last but not least, we stay in the Philippines for a family outing with some out-of-town relatives. ^{(ᴇxᴄᴇʀᴘᴛ)} This morning, I become driver for my sister and sent her to the bus station in town because she wanted to go back home during her off-day. I'm not a morning guy, and I hate mornings, especially on weekdays during office hours. It was because traffic was jammed everywhere, and I really hated it. But I would feel bad if I didn't help my sister by at least sending her to the bus station. I try to get there as early as possible because it is less jammed if I drive early, but then the problem is that the road becomes packed with cars when the sun gets high.

Driving along Pan Borneo Highways

^{(ᴇxᴄᴇʀᴘᴛ)} This is one of the most ambitious projects out there that the Sarawakian government is undertaking. The Pan Borneo highway at a cost of 27 billion Ringgit Malaysia or around a cost of close to six billion USD. It stretches more than 2000 kilometres. There are no tolls on this highway. Most of the highway has already been completed. So what is it like to drive on this highway. Pretty smooth. There are still some sections that have yet to complete.

Provincial Life: Putting A New Fish Pond And Installing A Basketball Playground

^{(ᴇxᴄᴇʀᴘᴛ)} I am very excited today because it is time to filled with water to our newly built fish pond here near at our House. Last month, My Father decided to built a fish pond here and for me, this is a kind of great project for us here because the fish will be put in here is the telapia fish. Tilapia is a kind of most popular fish and good for different kinds of dish just like fish soup, fried fish, scabetche and Ginataan recipé.

A Heartfelt Reunion: A Day with cousin and relatives from Davao ❤️

^{(ᴇxᴄᴇʀᴘᴛ)} It was a sunny Sunday morning, and little did I know that it would mark the beginning of a day filled with warmth, laughter, and a heartwarming reunion. The message from my cousin, announcing their arrival in Cebu all the way from Davao, set the stage for an unforgettable day. As I read the message, excitement welled up within me. It had been quite some time since we last see each other, and the prospect of seeing my cousin and his aunts and uncles was a joyful one.
