     This week I had to make a rushed trip to the Thai border to renew my visa and continue my precarious residency in Cambodia that will never lead to citizenship. I am just now back home and settled in but didn't have time to create a weekly challenge, but otherwise things are back to normal. As always with this curation I have 4 undervalued posts to share with you all.

     Lost birds in Thailand combined with a banana harvest. outdoor markets in Indonesia via one of our own ASEAN Hivers with Belgian tourists in tow, beautiful traditional dresses in the Philippines, and of course a massive tempting jackfruit to finish things, this post has it all. ^{(ᴇxᴄᴇʀᴘᴛ)} Hello friends, 3 days ago, my birdcage escaped from its cage at home. The story is that my wife is responsible for feeding the birds. Every morning, when she finished feeding the birds, she came down to make lunch as usual. But I heard the birds I raised sing unusually. I heard them far away from the house. While I was sitting downstairs in front of the house, when I walked up to the birdcage on the upper floor, I was shocked because the door of the birdcage was open.

Experiencing the Ubud Morning Market with My Belgian Client

^{(ᴇxᴄᴇʀᴘᴛ)} Exploring the vibrant Ubud Morning Market on Suweta Road with my Belgian client was a real treat. The market, alive between five and ten in the morning, is a sensory delight. At 10, this market become a car parking, so the sellers have to pack up their merchandises. Vendors display their merchandise directly on the market floor, including vegetables,spices, clothes, and cakes. Amidst the lively chatter and colorful displays, we explored sections featuring aromatic turmeric and galangal, fresh beans, shallots, onions, and chili peppers.

Linggo Ng Wika - August 1, 2024

^{(ᴇxᴄᴇʀᴘᴛ)} This month is called Linggo Ng Wika not just a week but the whole month. They are wearing the national old fashion dresses. They look so cute and beautiful. I am so happy that I am here to see them in person. I realized how parents would be here to recognized, appreciate and support our children. I felt how money can't buy happiness when you are in their side to support to give their snack, to drive them to school and back home. These were the things I missed from my mother and my father.

^{(ᴇxᴄᴇʀᴘᴛ)} It's fruiting season again. My mom says I'm always so lucky because whenever I came back for a visit the fruits that she planted are always ready to be harvest. Specially her jackfruit plant.🤤🤭 It's just so happened that I always planned to come back at the right time I guessed.The perfect timing. Hehe Just look at the size of this jackfruit!😱 My hand just looks so tiny beside it.🤭 My mom just harvest this today and I can't wait to cut it opened and try the sweet fruit!
