July 26th, 2025Β Β Β Greetings folks, a little later than normal is the new norm with ASEAN Hive posts lately, but my new role as a caregiver and stay-at-home dad have pretty much consumed my life. My stepfather still requires care around the clock and wears and electronic vest that can shock his heart if he has any arrhythmia, he's nearly 150kg, and can barely stand up.
Β Β Β As I often do, I thank you all for your patience and understanding during this difficult time. There is a new delegator this week, @hopefulsoul with 50 HP. She has earned the BRONZE title and the perks that come along with it, and perhaps we'll see her in the winners' circle soon with a little luck.
Β Β Β There isn't much else to say other than I'm running low on sleep and time, trying to finish this raffle post before I wake up tomorrow morning and help my stepfather attend his congestive heart failure clinic appointment. You delegators are awesome, and I can't thank you enough for making ASEAN Hive thrive via our collective voting HP through grassroots delegations.

How The VIP Delegator Raffle Works
Β Β Β Every raffle I tally the total HP delegated to the @asean.hive curation account, and one raffle ticket is allocated for each HP delegated by you ASEAN Hivers (excluding [me] @justinparke, @srey-yuu, @sakana & @sreypov), with a minimum delegation of 50 HP to be eligible for the ASEAN Hive VIP π₯ BRONZE Raffle.
Β Β Β There are five separate raffles, one for each VIP tier, and each tier's prize is a post beneficiary status equivalent to the tier's total percentage of raffle tickets allocated. This means the percentages of each tier's share of the prize is fluid, and I think it makes the raffle more fun and fairer.
Β Β Β This week's total effective HP is 198,973 HP, and total delegated HP is 184,962 HP (138,940 minus ASEAN team member delegations & delegations under 50 HP), so I plugged the numbers into my Raffle Picker iOS app, selected "pick winners," and the results were instantly and randomly calculated.
