October 14th, 2023I'm back once again with a hot and fresh new raffle for you VIP ASEAN Hivers. It's a little later than normal, but better late than never, right? I am proud to announce we now have surpassed 100,000 HP in delegations not from my family, and with this I hope to introduce some changes to our little community. One of these changes will be the addition of HBD Savings as a rewards system for delegators.
The first batch of HBD Savings will be collected in roughly two weeks, the earned monthly interest from an HBD Savings account I have been slowly building up for several months. In the beginning there won't be much HBD to go around, but if it proves to be popular and we get more delegations, I may consider powering down all earned HP to fill the savings account with HBD and increase the interest/rewards.
When the community HBD Savings account has amassed enough funds to make an off-Hive investment, I will let you all know and make sure that we choose what to do with as a community. My family and I live in a very beautiful area within a national wildlife refuge, so the best idea I have so far is to build a cabin or bungalow for ASEAN Hive VIPs to use for free when/if they visit Cambodia, and to also rent it out to guests and split the earnings with you all, perhaps in HIVE, HBD, or even a Binance token of some kind. How The VIP Delegator Raffle Works
Every raffle I tally the total HP delegated to the @asean.hive curation account, and one raffle ticket is allocated for each HP delegated by you ASEAN Hivers (excluding [me] @justinparke, @srey-yuu, @sakana & @sreypov), with a minimum delegation of 50 HP to be eligible for the ASEAN Hive VIP 🥉 BRONZE Raffle.
There are five separate raffles, one for each VIP tier, and each tier's prize is a post beneficiary status equivalent to the tier's total percentage of raffle tickets allocated. This means the percentages of each tier's share of the prize is fluid, and I think it makes the raffle more fun and fairer.
This week's total effective HP is 148,030, and total delegated HP is 135,493 HP (99,681 HP minus ASEAN team member delegations & delegations under 50 HP), so I plugged the numbers into my Raffle Picker iOS app, selected "pick winners," and the results were instantly and randomly calculated.

I understand, I too haven't found time to post for over a month, and I really miss it. I really need a creative outlet, but so far house-husbanding is consuming my days,, kind of scared for a future without an income. I hope we both find time to start sharing more of our lives again soon.
