September 9th, 2023There were some technical difficulties on Hive today and it has caused this week's raffle post to come much later than usual. At first I thought the problem was our slow internet, but after hopping on Discord to investigate, I quickly realized I wasn't the only one having Hive problems. All my troubleshooting efforts failed, but now it seems things are back to normal.
@semarekha upped her delegation to a whopping 2,200 HP, one of the first things I noticed while preparing this raffle post. @godslove123 came back onboard with a 150 HP delegation and @newhope1988 joined as a brand new SILVER VIP via a 100 HP delegation. As far as delegations go, that pretty much sums things up. As always, I thank you delegators for making ASEAN Hive thrive!
Without further delay we might as well hop into the raffle. It's already very late, but better late than never I guess. This week I have one daughter on a one-week break from school and my youngest must continue her studies as usual, Ultimately it means my oldest daughter's classmate will no longer be taking both of my kids to school and back. The situation means I must drive back and forth twice a day on the moto to take Monkey-B to and from school, the opposite of a vacation for me 🤣.

How The VIP Delegator Raffle Works
Every raffle I tally the total HP delegated to the @asean.hive curation account, and one raffle ticket is allocated for each HP delegated by you ASEAN Hivers (excluding [me] @justinparke, @srey-yuu, @sakana & @sreypov), with a minimum delegation of 50 HP to be eligible for the ASEAN Hive VIP 🥉 BRONZE Raffle.
There are five separate raffles, one for each VIP tier, and each tier's prize is a post beneficiary status equivalent to the tier's total percentage of raffle tickets allocated. This means the percentages of each tier's share of the prize is fluid, and I think it makes the raffle more fun and fairer.
This week's total effective HP is 147,459, and total delegated HP is 135,139 HP (99,345 HP minus ASEAN team member delegations & delegations under 50 HP), so I plugged the numbers into my Raffle Picker iOS app, selected "pick winners," and the results were instantly and randomly calculated.

You are able to create a very nice list. But the interesting thing is that who has done the delegation and above all I thank them a lot. But I think thinking about yourself all the time is not enough. I think it is important to support the community through delegation by keeping my own ID capacity. Although my ID capacity is very low. But still I have delegated 25 HP but my name is not in this list.
Thank you my friend, I did see your delegation. I will designate you a member, but to be a VIP and eligible for big weekly raffles, you need to maintain a delegation of 50 HP+. With a 25 HP delegation though, you are still eligible for daily raffles and engagement upvotes.

It's funny to me that I haven't won ever since increasing my delegation by 40%
Sometimes I question the digital results and want to run it back again, but I reluctantly trust the computer gods. On a sidenote, has Nadi ever bitten any CEO's of raffle apps 😉?
