Which one is Better??

Hi, I am Arveno from Surabaya city. In this content i want to share about which one is better using Refinery Sugar or using other sugar in this case in my home i have Arenga Palm Sugar Syrup. Disclaimer here i dont want to asking you guys to avoiding sugar but i think from my experience, i can share something usefull and maybe related with your life too.

First of all, i am still consume sugar on my daily basis. I still cannot avoiding sugar in my life. Yep, this sugary things is kinda like nicotine and other substance that can make us addict. But, recently i am reducing consuming added sugar on my daily diet. Usually i took more than 30 grm outside eating rice for daily diet. Thats what makes my belly hanging around and my waist size gotta bigger. And i know that is very bad for my health. Especially in my family there are 3 older people that got Diabetic 2 of them already dead and the last one my aunt still having spirit to conquer this Diabetic. Of course she is having strict diet. Thats why i am starting to cutting my daily sugar doze in my life. I think it is better to start early than after got Diabetic i need to change my diet. So, for your information this is based from my experience. Cutting Sugar in daily life is kinda like cutting off smoking or alcohol. Since all of them are addiction, so cutting sugar is really look alike smoking. For me is kinda similar when i am cutting nicotine. Brain fog, Mood Swing, Craving sugar and sweet, Exanimate, and sleepy. Yep that what i felt in the first week after cutting more than half added daily dose of sugar. Even though i am still getting sugar from carbs like rice, potato, starch and many more. No wonder in Indonesia nowdays many people got diabetic, i think they are mostly similar with my life, eating rice is a must then drinking sweet drinks especially that packaged drinks. Then eating bread plus chocolate jam or other jam that mostly their main ingredient is Sugar. Then the most carb that i cannot avoid is Noodles. However, sometimes i have huge spirit to denied all the sugar in a day. And sometimes i just dealing with myself that it is okay if i can drink sugar that more than 30 grm in a day just one day and usually when weekend coming especially when my wife and my son asking to eating out.

At first it kinda not work for me since my body still craving sugar more when i cut all sugary things. And then i am starting to exercise my muscles in my house everyday except weekend. This is where the changes start to show, my body started to craving more meat especially tofu and eggs ( this is just because i love eating them) and my craving on sugar decreased. Especially 1-2 hours after working out. My body literally craving protein. Thats really cool right? But, here the catch. I still have 2 addiction that i cannot cut until right now. First is Sugar second is Coffee. And the most sugar that i take is from Coffee especially when i am buying from outside and not making by myself.

Since i am still coffee addicted, what i need to change is the sugar intake. I have 2 choices, one is still using Refinery Sugar but the amount is reduced or i need to change to other sugary things with Lower Glycemic Index like this Arenga Palm Syrup or even better using Brown Sugar or even much better using Stevia syrup. But, in my country Stevia Syrup kinda expensive. Maybe in the future i will try this Stevia Syrup. But, right now i am trying to change my Refinery sugar into this Arenga Palm Sugar. And what i felt until right now is my tongue taste is kinda sensitive with sweet taste. Sometimes i felt that many dish or desserts are too sweet for me. And yep i am cutting my sugar intake to be 10-15 gram in a day. Maybe in the future i can reduce the intake sugar to be just 6-8 gram in a day. But yeah i need to make little by little step until i reached to 6 gram or even 0 gram in a day. This taste is kinda cool. I like this combination with coffee and milk (Low Fat). But, for giving energy, this sugar is kinda same with other sugar. They just give and boosting the energy just in brief moment and cannot maintain long time. If i need energy in long time i better eating egg or meat. So, what do you think guys??

I think a healthier sugar like Arenga Palm Sugar is a good step, especially if it helps you reduce overall intake. Little changes everyday can make a big difference in the future

Sugar is really hard to stop because we eat it every day. I also eat rice and sweet food like bread and drinks, so I understand you. I also like coffee, but I only drink at home. I only buy outside if I have time.

Yeah same here thats why i have my sugar regulation
but it is really hard to avoid sugar really hard

The taste is definitely different, I don't like my cofee with plam sugar om. I am too familiar with the sugar from sugar cane.
