How to Survive and Growing in Splinterlands

In this content i want to share how to survive in this web3 gaming. It is not easy to just survive in here especially when you guys did not injecting any money into this game. Maybe i am one of the people that not inject anything in this game except spellbook. Umm, actually i am buying Harklaw and Djinn Biljka at first and it spend around 20$ at that time. It is maybe around 4 years ago if i am not mistaken. And i am still surviving playing this game and right now building some assets in this game.
It took me more than 2 years to decide to cashing out all the income or reinvesting the earning.
And finally i decided to reinvest my earning while still renting what i dont have to get some rewards.

So, the ways to survive right now and way back then is kinda different. Way back then i just need to renting some card and can collect rewards then i can have choice either selling the rewards or collecting it. Right now the rewards are soulbound and need staking sps to get the rewards. And that terms is not easy for new challenger. But, let me tell you. That is worth it. You will know it later what for this terms. Since right now the way is different. I can suggesting for new player, after buying Spellbook. Please dont using the credit first. Pick what you want to do first since right now there are 4 different mode in this game to be played. And i suggesting to use the credit to buy some card that having good APR for renting. You can check here. After you owning some card then you rent it out and waiting to get money from the card that you rented out. Then this is the way to get the cash balance recently.

Right now what you need to do is playing in Frontier Mode. But before playing in this mode, you need to completed the campaign mode first and get the base cards to playing in Frontier Mode. You can read in here as guide. After finishing all the campaign mode. Then lets make sure win 15 times in a day to get cards rewards. You can read some of the article about this frontier here. After done and having maxed all the foundation cards. Then the excess cards that you have, you can sell it on the market. And the keep still doing Frontier mode and sell all the excess cards. After the capital has been collected, you can start to choose one of the mode beside Frontier. Either Survival, Wild, or Modern. Survival is the interesting one since this place is kinda like bot battlefield. So, you can rent cards (4-5 complete copies) and buying bot services then just run it. And the rewards can be used to be reinvest in this game and owning the asset so no need to rent again. And the second option is wild. Similar with Survival mode but what makes different is in Survival mode the cards that defeated is on cooldown in within a certain period of time. And in Wild you still can played it the lost is just losing rating and not getting any rewards that all. And in both Wild and Survival you can using all cards. And the last one is Modern mode. In Modern we just can using newest set cards in battle. So, the old card we cannot use it on Modern. In Modern we cannot using bot services so need to play manually. But, right now the liquidity bots from dev kinda dominated the battlefield. So,for new player i suggest not going into this league except you guys having ton of money to burn.

After pick one of this leagues mode. You need to reinvest what you guys make from Frontier mode. But, my suggestion is buying gold foil Wild cards ( The cheapest Archon first). And first gold foil card that can be bought, you need to rent it at first and repeat this frontier mode first. After getting double income from frontier and rented out gold foil cards. Then you can make your own deck and battling it by yourself or by using bot services. I think it is better using bot services and playing at Survival at first. Every splinterlands that you got, you need to cash out at least 25% from all the earnings for building your own deck first. Then repeat this until you reach what you dream for.

If you having much time, you can get other option here. You can be a scholar. But, how we got reach people that need scholar?
You need to sign up in Scholar Showdown tournament. It is free to entry and also they are using Ghost cards which is all cards already unlocked. You can try and tinkering new Meta or strategy there and if winning tournament your name will echoed in Splinterlands family. And if lucky enough, you can get people that need scholar services. And then same like me, the payment that i got usually i used for buying some assets. Mine is in Modern right now. But, maybe at some point i am starting to buying Old money and starting playing in Survival mode too. So, in the end the choice is yours. But, please respect other people in this game community and dont using hack, cheat, or even helper. Thats is really killing the fun in this game.
