Now You Can Book a Bodyguard from your Smartphone

Things are really crazy in Social Media and today I found out about something that is crazy but definitely useful in many scenarios.

It seems you can now order a bodyguard like an Uber with just one tap of a button on your smartphone. There is a new app called Protector that lets you hire personal security on demand, complete with their own vehicle and customisation according to you.

Before booking, you can watch videos of available bodyguards, see their qualifications, and even choose how they dress, from business formal to full tactical gear plus you can also choose as to which Cars they pick you up in provided the ride is on the safer side than the Fun side.

The service starts at 500 USD for 5 hours with one bodyguard and a vehicle, which is way less than traditional security. There's also a 129 USD annual membership if you plan to use it regularly. Think about it, before this, personal security was only for celebrities and executives. Now anyone can have protection for high stakes meetings, late night events, or just walking through sketchy areas.

And that's not all. The same company is launching Patrol, an app where neighborhoods can crowdfund their own security force. For $100,000, your community can get AI patrol drones, and for $150,000, actual security robots patrolling your streets. Right now, Protector is only launching in LA but hopefully this service is extended to other parts of the world as there is definitely a niche market for these Services.
