Quick sketch of baba Fela 161
Hello friends I am here with a simple black pen sketch I created in honor of the legendary Fela Anikulapo Kuti the father of Afrobeat and a powerful voice for social justice in Nigeria.
Fela was more than just a musician. He was a movement, an activist, and a fearless truth-teller and story teller who used his music as a weapon against oppression. This sketch captures his expressive spirit, his vibrant personality, and that ever-confident smile that defined him both on and off stage.
Art is one of the ways I connect with culture, and Fela’s legacy continues to inspire my creative journey. Thinking about his music and lifestyle inspired me to make one sketch of him using my stroke lines to depict light and shade.
I made my sketch on an A4 paper below the sketch of bob marley I made yesterday
Here is a view of what it looks like
