Is Steem now a desert?
I visited Steem recently, and I came to the conclusion that using this social network is like trying to find someone to chat with in the middle of the Sahara. I wish I lived those times, but now I'm living the Hive, and even better things may come in the future, or not, who knows =)

To be fair Steem used to be fun with a great community. Then Justin Sun came along. The result probably would have been the same no matter what millionaire/billionaire it was but Justin Sun wasn't diplomatic and made a bad situation even worse.
I'd compare Steem to Pyongyang, North Korea or Beijing, China. Horrible leadership over something that would otherwise be a welcoming and thriving place. There's actifit and steemhunt. You can do business there but it's not a place to spend a lot of time there.
