Part of me thinks, they deserve it, they should reap what they sowed into their veins, have a nice shortened life. But perhaps that's a bit cold. I have to ask myself: are people really deserving of "suddenly" because they believed the singular unified message of their employers, their co-workers, their authorities, their governments, their friends, their families, their banking institutions, their grocery stores, their media, their president? It shouldn't surprise us that when their "crazy unvaxed" friends warn them that the "hero" of this drama (everyone play their part) is really the villain, that they do not believe them. Because everyone knows, we cannot be "hesitant".
A truther could save a life and convince a person to make wiser health decisions, but truthers do not have billions of dollars and the majority of society on their side. Even the (still) very popular president was pushing his "warp speed", standing on the stage next to Dr. Death himself. All three manipulative tools were in play: money, power and peer pressure. To us it seems so obvious, but to most others, they think "just do it and it'll be settled". In 3 - 5 years it'll be settled all right.
