NeedleWorkMonday: Crochet an Order (Spiderman πΈοΈ & Rapunzel πΈ)
Hey guys! π
I hope you are all doing great π·
Ivcould not for the course of events. The yarn basket was sitting under my table, waiting to be crafted into something. Once my roommate, (yeah roommate, the girl who had a solo room is now sharing it with four, life gives comfort and then takes it away to let us know that nothing is permanent) asked me to give her some ideas for a gift for her niece and nephew. So I don't know why i offered her that I can crochet something for them I you want, she was immediately convinced after I showed her my work. Then the next question was, what to be crocheted? I asked her for their favourite cartoons, she said her niece is into the princess stuff and her nephew love Spiderman. So that's it, it's all we needed to know.
I searched YouTube for the tutorials, I immediately found a perfect one for the princess Rapunzel but I had to work a little bit for Spiderman, as it was kind of hard to find the one which resembled him.
Following are the finalised tutorials:
Rapunzel
Spiderman
The Rapunzel is from the scene where little girls braided them and styled it with natural flowers. While Spiderman is hanging upside down.
I procrastinated a lot, like a lot. First i made the big head of the Spiderman, and then let it sit for weeks then I made it's 4 limbs, tied them up and gave them a long rest.
After that I got bored with it, so I started working with Rapunzel. It was very exciting thing to work on. First made the body, the body had 4 blobs , which confused initially but when I get to work on frock, I understood that it was to make the frock get away from the body. Everything about it was so cute, the little details at the border, the little sleeve straps, the vine in the hair, the flowers, every strand of hair was crochet separately to add details and craftiness. ( umm okay you can call this self-appreciation π)
Then as I had to complete Spiderman so half heartedly started off with eyes, and they turned it pretty cool.
After I pinned all the limbs together.
Later I glued them together added the white strand, and tada they were ready.
Here the two beauties are reading to bring smiles on the cuties faces.
Thanks for making till down here.
I hope it was worth your time.
See ya next time bye bye ππ·
