Assalam o alaikum and hello to my life style how are you friends.I hope everyone is well and I am also well. This is my first post in the #lifestyle community.I visited few days ago to Shahi fort which is situated in Lahore, Pakistan.During the visit of Shahi fortLahore, where I saw beautiful stalls of various items, which were very beautiful and skillfully prepared. Among them are handicrafts, jewelry, wooden necessities, decoration materials, paintings and toys etc.
Shahi Fort which is a historical place and thousands of people come to visit here every day. People from far away also visit the stalls in Shahi Fort and buy the things they like. When I went there a few days ago, I had a lot of fun. The weather was very pleasant and the sun was shining fully while the cool wind was also blowing which made it fun to walk around.
When we entered the Shahi Fort through the entrance, we saw some stalls including a handicrafts house, where many paintings, books and other decorations pieces and sceneries were available but they did not attract us as families were allowed to enter there. So instead of going there, we visited the Shahi Fort and when we came back down from the other side, we saw very beautiful stalls there.
These stalls were installed on the stairs built in the Shahi Fort many hundreds of years ago and these stairs are very wide which was used as a passage for elephants.
As soon as I reached here, I saw that the stalls of many items were arranged in a particular order. The very first stall which was placed at the very top place had various kinds of items.
In this stall, there were models of historical buildings made of wood, including the Badshahi Mosque Lahore, which was built by Aurangzeb Alamgir during the Mughal era and had a very beautiful design. Apart from this, there was also a model of the Alamgiri door which was used as main entrance gate for Royal King made of wood. People were buying such beautiful models made of wood as decoration pieces. There were many hand made toys like trucks and rickshaws which was made by wood and decorated with beautiful mirror work. These toys were showing the Punjab cultura of Pakistan.
Along with it there were some silverware like glasses and there were lamps along with it which looked very beautiful.
After that, I reached the next stall and saw that there were wooden vessels that looked very beautiful and were made with great skill, with intricate carvings on them.
At the next stall, I saw beautiful wooden scenes that were made with embroidery, on which various Quranic verses were written. These can be decorated in offices, shops and homes. Along with this, there were also pictures of different historical places of Pakistan on this stall, which looked very good.
There were also small boxes made of wood which were made very beautifully which could be used for different purposes. These boxes were also locked so money could be kept in them and many people used to keep paan in these small boxes.
At one of the stalls, I saw that there were traditional bread trays and boxes for keeping the bread warm, which were made by hand, showing the culture of Punjab. Many people were buying them, which were available at a very reasonable price. Some bread trays were there which are used for as a decoration pieces.
I also saw handmade fans at various stalls which looked very attractive and beautiful which were made by hand and colorful threads were used to make them, adding to their beauty.
Apart from this, there were women's accessories and shoes, including slippers, and small children's shoes with beautiful designs, which were made according to the culture of Punjab.
There were jewelery stalls which were the center of attention for women. Artificial jewelery was available, including bangles, necklaces, rings, ear rings, etc. The designs were very beautiful. Some of the jewelery were of old style designs which were in tune with the culture of Punjab, while most of them were of modern designs.
Some of these bangles were decorated with pearls. While the rings were decorated with various types of beautifully designed stones that would add to their beauty.
Moreover, there were beautiful handbags and purses for women in different designs and colors that looked very attractive and beautiful. Many women would stop at the sight of them and ask the sellers for their price, so they reluctantly did not buy them because they were too expensive, but very beautiful and And some women used to give the money they asked for.
The watch stall there was also a center of attention. Among them, the Ladies hand watches were very beautifully designed and many women and children were buying these watches.
Along with this, there were many kinds of children's toys, including plastic toys. My favorite toy among the children's toys was a boat made of iron curtain, in which a small flame was lit with the help of a candle and left in the water, it would move just like a real boat and sound like a real boat.I bought this boat for 150 Pakistani rupees for my son and he was very happy with it.
At the stalls here, people who have come from remote areas of Pakistan buy items for themselves and their loved ones, and many people also buy these items and give them as gifts to their loved ones.
The purpose of today's post was to highlight the culture and lifestyle of Pakistan by sharing these items and introduce to our hive friends our culture lifestyle and traditions.I hope you read my post and enjoyed this.
