Chill Afternoon ❄️ at the Beach ⛱️

Hudayriat Beach

Again, its the Little Man who got to choose what we do and where we go. Well actually, I think we're just waiting for him to persuade all of us into something so we could all get out of the house and do something exciting. Like when we went for a cold swim at Malibiran's Farm & Resort.

He's been nagging we go to the beach since our final week in the Philippines. We were not able to go because it rained a lot in our final week there and we already got too busy.

So today, he's one happy kid as we finally got the chance to go to the beach.

And it's free. 🤭

It's been an overcast day, a bit warm, but generally pleasant. We reached there at about half past two.

A lot had changed since we were last here. The developments by Modon were almost complete (or actually complete) and there were lots of establishments/restaurants already opened. And wheew, we could not find the entrance to the beach!

After a lot of walkkjng, I decided to ask the guard who let us know that the public beach was at the other end. 🤦‍♀️

Relaxation by the beach.

We finally settled. We always choose the spot next to the lifeguard.

For one, there's an immense sense of security to know that we're swimming under the watch of trained lifeguards.

Second their watch tower could render us some shade from the sun. Lol.

Little Man immediately ran to check the water. It was just normal, he said.

Then she was joined by Little Miss. They played sand at the shore.

After a while the called out to say that they found a tiny crab. Kuya joined them for some time.

They spent most of their time playing on the sand, where Little Miss buried Little Man from the waist down.

Hmmm, seems fun!

birds, birds, birds!

There were lots of birds! The sea gulls were flying so close to the people because they know that they would get food from them.

Then there were occasional crows. Such cheeky bandits disguised in feathers!

They stole food from us any chance they get lol

Kuya had to keep an eye on our belongings. Not from people, but from birds! Lol.

I walked along the shore for some time. The water was chilly! ❄️🥶

As the sun went down, the temperature alao dropped. Wind blew harder. The kids decided to shower.

Then we stayed for a moment. More people came as the afternoon progressed.

The sea gulls saw more opportunity to be fed. These people were carrying puff balls or whatever.

The gulls were like in a feeding frenzy!

We'd like to stay longer, if not only for a message from the husband. He was already home and he could not get inside the house. We had the key to the gate. Lol.

It would have been great to watch the sunset.

Hmmm, maybe next time.

For now, it's time to go home. Little Man was literally shaking from the cold already. Lol.
