My Two Favorite Idle Games on Hive
Before I landed on Hive, I never considered idle games: why should I play a game that barely requires you to do anything but wait patiently for the time to pass?
Things, however, change dramatically when the wait and patience are rewarded with something tangible: in the world of web 3.0, in fact, the assets we unlock can actually be ours and our time can be repaid with tokens that have economic value.
This is why I approached this genre, and as I explored some of these games, I found that their simplicity and the little effort they require are precisely their greatest advantages.
And what titles have I enjoyed the most to date?
Rising Star
The first game I feel I have to mention is also the first play2earn game I have ever heard of - even before Splinterlands!
I'm talking about Rising Star The Game, a music-themed game that allows us to follow the steps of a young music star, increasing our fans and the relevance of the stages on which we are called upon to perform through the purchase of increasingly rare NFTs and by unlocking missions with progressively greater rewards.
The game is really very simple and requires only a few seconds of time per day; however, the drawback is that progression is really slow, unless you want to invest something in the game to accelerate your growth.
Currently, my collection has 98 cards, allowing me to rely on 5740 fans. As the number of fans increases, the STARBITS rewards I get with each mission also increase, allowing me over time to speed up the rate at which I can purchase new cards.
Golem Overlord
The other title I play assiduously is Golem Overlord, which has a membership cost - $10 to be paid in swap.hive - but which I find very enjoyable, especially because of a rather high rate of progression, which leads me every few days to unlock new upgrades and discover interesting new features of the game.
Here, too, the time required each day is very little: I personally log on twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening, claiming my accrued tokens, attacking other players to boost my earnings, and completing the actions required by the daily quests.
Overall, both of these games are easy to play, take very little time, and allow you to accumulate assets that, one day, can be sold again or used to unlock higher earnings: plus building a potential small source of passive income can't hurt, right?

I Miei Due Idle Games Preferiti su Hive
Prima di approdare su Hive non avevo mai preso in considerazione gli idle games: perchè giocare ad un gioco che a malapena ti richiede di fare qualcosa, se non aspettare pazientemente lo scorrere del tempo?
Le cose tuttavia cambiano radicalmente quando l'attesa e pazienza vengono ricompensate con qualcosa di tangibile: nel mondo del web 3.0, infatti, gli assets che sblocchiamo possono essere realmente nostri ed il nostro tempo può venire ripagato con tokens dotati di valore economico.
Per questo mi sono avvicinato a questo genere e, esplorando alcuni di questi giochi, ho scoperto che la loro semplicità ed il poco impegno che richiedono sono proprio i loro maggiori vantaggi.
E quali sono i titoli che ad oggi ho apprezzato di più?
Rising Star
Il primo gioco che mi sento di dover citare è anche il primo gioco play2earn di cui abbia mai sentito parlare - addirittura prima di Splinterlands!
Si tratta di Rising Star The Game, un gioco a tema musicale che ci consente di percorrere i passi di una giovane stella del campo musicale, aumentando i nostri fans e l'importanza dei palchi su cui siamo chiamati ad esibirci attraverso l'acquisizione di NFT sempre più rari e lo sblocco di missione dotate di ricompense via via maggiori.
Il gioco è davvero semplicissimo e richiede pochi secondi di tempo al giorno; lo svantaggio è però che la progressione è davvero lenta, a meno di non voler investire qualcosa nel gioco per accelerare la propria crescita.
Attualmente la mia collezione conta 98 carte, che mi consentono di poter fare affidamento su 5740 fans: all'aumentare dei fans aumentano anche le ricompense in STARBITS che ottengo con ogni missione, permettendomi col tempo di velocizzare il ritmo con cui posso acquistare nuove carte.
Golem Overlord
L'altro titolo a cui gioco assiduamente è Golem Overlord, che ha un costo di iscrizione - 10 dollari da pagarsi in swap.hive - ma che trovo molto divertente, soprattutto grazie ad una velocità di progressione piuttosto alta, che mi porta ogni pochi giorni a sbloccare nuovi upgrades e scoprire nuovi interessanti aspetti del gioco.
Anche qui il tempo richiesto ogni giorno è davvero poco: personalmente mi collego due volte al giorno, una la mattina e l'altra la sera, facendo il claim dei tokens accumulati, attaccando gli altri giocatori per potenziare i miei guadagni e completando nel mentre le azioni che mi sono richieste dalle missioni giornaliere.
Nel complesso entrambi questi giochi sono semplici da giocare, portano via pochissimo tempo e consentono di accumulare assets che, un domani, possono essere rivenduti o utilizzati per sbloccare guadagni sempre maggiori: inoltre costruire delle potenziali piccole fonti di introiti passivi male non può fare, no?

Rising Star is a game I'm well familiar with.
Been playing for some while now.
Although finding cards have become a bit harder for me now.
Another rather bummed out aspect is the fact that the Starbits value is so low😂
Anyways its a nice idle game that's quite easy to get into.

My main regret with RS was not getting the millionaire card when it was available: I know that it makes everything a lot easier! My progress are so slow that after almost two years I'm still such a noob !LOL but playing it it's so easy and I can't help but do 1-2 missions everyday :) maybe in the long run it will pay, who knows!
