Our Friendly Neighbor and Her Friendly Cow...
Hello everyone!!! I hope you're all doing great today.
As a stranger in a new place, one of the things that makes us happy is to have friendly and kind neighbors.
We are lucky to meet someone like this smiling lady who passes by in our front yard every morning and afternoon with her friendly cow.

Arashi and Max at first felt awkward seeing the cow because they hadn't seen animals like them in the city. They both bark at the cow anxiously, especially Arashi, who is very aggressive. But later on, they both got used to just watching the cow and felt at ease. The cow is somewhat good, friendly, and well-behaved.
So, we usually greet each other every morning with sincere smiles.
We also met two kind and generous neighbors. Though I wasn't able to take some photos of them out of respect, I just want to share how kind and generous they are to us.
Manang Lourdes was the caretaker of this house before. She planted some vegetables here and there, and some of them are still alive, like the moringa, lemon grass, and chilis.

She entrusted the remaining vegetables that she planted to us. And she even gave us seeds of alugbati (malabar spinach) this morning. She saw me planting some alugbati stems from the one I cooked, then she told me that it is much better to plant seeds than the stems because they will grow better. That's why she promised me that she would give me some seeds, and she did it this morning.
There's another kind and generous neighbor. She’s a relative of our landlord, and when she noticed that we love ornamental plants, she promised to give us some of her plants. Isn't it great to have such neighbors as they are?

She even came to our newly opened store at the garage and gave us some puto maya that she cooked. We have free and delicious snacks. We all started sharing our simple blessings as we also shared some of our foods to them. And we always love doing it.
Well, I'm very much excited for the ornamental plants she promised, and so excited to see the progress of our vegetable garden; however, I'm a bit sad too because I wasn't able to take care of them for the past few days because of my back pain.
I might be overworking because of the excitement. That is why I should take care of my health first and just continue my garden activity little by little.

We're a bit busy with some things, too. We decided to transfer the store to the garage. We just temporarily displayed our goods for the store in the sala, so some people might feel awkward coming because it's inside the house. So today, my husband transferred the store to the garage. I helped a little in arranging. My daughter helped too, and she painted another sign.

I still suffered back pain, although it's not that severe now. I hope the pain will vanish already so that I can continue my garden activity.
I promise to give you an update soon.
Anyways, most of the pictures here were taken by my daughter @tegoshei. I was holding Arashi at that time and wasn't able to bring my phone. Good thing that my daughter is really obsessed with taking photos, most especially now that we are already in the countryside. Thanks a bunch for the photos, @tegoshei dear. Lablab muchhhh. 🥰🥰🥰
I'll just end my post here and see you around. Thank you so much for stopping by, and God bless 🙂🙏💖

!BBH !ALIVE
No, it isn't an ox..although they look closely similar to cows. 🙂
If i get out of the city a bit I see people bringing their cows here and there often. The cows seem content to just stand somewhere and eat all the grass all day long. Then when the day is over the owners just walk it home and the cows don't seem to fight them at all.
You're right...it is the same here in our place. They even just stay in the field or farm eating grass, come rain or shine. I think cows has stronger stamina. 🙂
