Creamy Garlic Butter Pork Chop with Fried Veggies

Have a great and blissful day to all the wonderful people on Hive!! I hope all is well with you and your family today.

Let me share with you the dish that I cooked for my family yesterday. It's a creamy garlic butter pork chop, which I incorporated with some veggies. As much as possible, I make sure to mix some vegetables whenever I cook meat, especially when it comes to pork, to make it healthier.

Here's how I did it.

Creamy Garlic Butter Pork Chop with Fried Veggies

INGREDIENTS:

  • Pork Chop
  • Potato
  • Carrot
  • Garlic
  • Onion
  • Ginger
  • Green Chili
  • Butter
  • Canola Oil
  • Soya Milk
  • All-Purpose Creamer
  • Salt
  • Pork Cube
  • Ground Pepper
  • Egg
  • Cornstarch

PREPARATION:

)
)

Wash the pork chops thoroughly, then put them into a larger bowl and add egg, salt, ground pepper, and cornstarch. Mix until well-combined, and then set aside.
Wash and peel the potatoes, then cut or slice them to your desired size and shape.

Wash and peel carrots, then cut them.
Peel and wash the onion, then cut it into small pieces.
Crush and peel the garlic and then mince it.
Wash and peel the ginger, then cut it into strips.
Wash the green chili. Then set all the prepared ingredients aside.

COOKING TIME:

)
)

Add 1 1/2 tbsp of butter and canola oil to a preheated pan, and fry the pork chop until golden brown. Remove the pork chops and then set them aside.

)
)

In the same pan with the remaining butter and canola oil, fry the potatoes and carrots until slightly browned. Remove after frying and set aside.

In another pan, heat some canola oil and then sauté garlic, onions, and ginger until aromatic.

)
)

Then add the fried pork chop, sauté with the aromatics, and then add the pork cube, mix until it dissolves.

)
)

Then add water, cover the pan, and bring it to a boil for a few minutes or until the water reduces and the pork is a bit tender.

)
)

Add a pinch of salt and ground pepper to taste. Stir to mix and then add the soya milk and creamer. Continue to cook until the pork is fully cooked.

)
)

Then add the green chilis, and then the fried potatoes and carrots.

Continue cooking for about three more minutes, since the veggies are already slightly cooked.

And there it is, all done.

That was super delish, my husband and my daughter @tegoshei praised the flavor in every bite they took. That made my heart flutter. Then, a few hours later, after lunch, my younger sister and my nephew came home unannounced.

It's another surprise visit from family far away from us. They live in another city, but they always love to visit us at home whenever they have time. Good thing that we still have some dishes left. They were so delighted with the taste, too.

I'm really glad, of course, and that motivates me to improve my cooking skills, even just in home-cooked dishes. And it's my pleasure to share it with you here on Hive.

I hope I may be able to help you a little with my way of cooking.
That would be all for today's post.
Thank you so much for stopping by and God bless...🙂🙏❤
