Air Fryer Pork Skewer🥩🍡🥓😋

It's a little cheat day here at home, breaking a bit of our supposed-to-be-healthy diet, because we have a little pork today. Although it's not that really bad because I cooked it in a less unhealthy way by using air fryer.

Air frying food offers several advantages over deep frying or grilling outdoors. It can make the meat have less oil, and it is convenient for us to cook. So, let's take a look at how it is done.

Air Fryer Pork Skewer🥩🍡🥓😋




INGREDIENTS:




  • Pork
  • Garlic
  • Onion
  • Bay Leaf
  • Kalamansi or Lemon
  • Soy Sauce
  • Knorr Liquid Seasoning
  • Salt
  • Brown Sugar
  • Ketchup
  • Garlic Powder
  • Ground Black Pepper
  • Sprite
  • Canola Oil
  • Water

PREPARATION AND COOKING:





Wash the pork thoroughly and then cut it thinly.
Peel and wash the onion, then cut it into small pieces.
Crush and peel the garlic and then mince.
Set aside and prepare the cooker.




Put the pork in the cooker or pan, add 1/2 cup of Sprite, 1/2 to 1 cup of water, add a little soy sauce, a pinch of salt and black pepper. Then add onions, garlic and bay leaf.

Mix them all together and boil the pork for about 5 minutes, or it depends on the thickness of the pork. When the pork's a bit tender, turn off the heat and transfer it to a plate. Let it cool down.




After cooling down, marinate the pork with soy sauce, Knorr liquid seasoning, garlic powder, brown sugar and ketchup. Set aside for about 20 minutes to let the pork or meat absorb the marinade.




Meanwhile, let's prepare some sauce for brushing. Just a little Sprite, kalamansi juice, garlic powder, Knorr liquid seasoning, ketchup and canola oil. Mix all the ingredients well.




After 20 minutes of marinating the pork, put them into skewers.
Then, preheat the air fryer to 180 degrees Celsius for 3 minutes.
Then put the skewered pork and grill them to 180 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes. But again, it really depends on the size and the thickness of the pork.

Open the air fryer after 7 to 8 minutes and then brush some sauce. Brush them twice until they're cooked. Repeat the process until all the pork skewers are finished.

When they're all cooked already, remove them from the skewer and transfer them into a serving dish.




It's good that I still have some of the dipping sauce I made. It’s a mixture of vinegar, soy sauce, unripe tomatoes, onions, ginger, lemon juice and black pepper.

And this is it. Ready to serve with warm rice.

When just in home while preparing yummy food is such nice way but I never try cook in Air fryer but at least its working on you and looks delicious keep it up !
