Adjusting Our Life After the Typhoon and Severe Flooding with the Fur Babies
Hello everyone!! Wishing you all a great and blissful day!!
We are still adjusting to life after the traumatic experience of being affected by Typhoon Tino and severe flooding. My family just accepted it positively and surrendered all to our Almighty Savior.
Despite everything, God never left us; instead, He protected and provided us with almost everything we needed through the people who helped and supported us morally, physically, and financially. And we are so grateful for them.
One thing that I was so thankful for is that we are not among those people who stayed in the evacuation center (but my heart cries for them because I know how hard it is), instead, we are now temporarily staying in a much bigger house than the house we used to stay in. I know this is only temporary, but it's a big thing to be thankful for.
I can still cook conveniently and will have more recipes to post in the future. At the moment we're still busy cleaning up, handwashing the clothes, and arranging the things and goods we received from family, relatives, and friends.
It's still hard to do these things because we don't have cabinets for clothes here, so we're just using the bags we received temporarily, too. And can only wash a little laundry at night because the water isn't working yet.
However, as soon as we can have cabinets, even our old plastic cabinets for our clothes, I'm going to rearrange them again and might post some photos here.
Here's a little tour of our temporary home.

❤️
Starting from outside, where Max conveniently stays and rests. He’s not free to move around because we live by the road, and sometimes, someone opens the gate. However, my husband walks him every morning and evening.

The sala and the kitchen where I can cook. I cooked fish paksiw that time.
We're now going upstairs. We're having a good exercise going up and down here every day.

There's a vacant room under renovation that we use as a temporary laundry area.

And here's the bedroom we occupy.

Arashi loves to stay here, on the balcony, or on the terrace upstairs. We all love to stay here for a few minutes before breakfast so that we can expose our bodies directly to the sun's heat.
This is Arashi's walking area too, while Max loves to walk outside on the road every morning and afternoon.
I don't know how long we can stay here, but honestly, I really love the environment in our old house, most especially my little garden. We are still cleaning it and waiting for the electrician to assist my husband in cleaning the electrical outlets before using the electricity again.
And we still need to reconstruct some damaged areas and other things, like the doors. So, it is still a long wait, I think, and we also need enough time to observe the situation there, to see if it is still safe for us to continue staying there. But honestly, I’m a little scared to go back to the area after what happened.
That would be all for now, and I promise to update you in the coming days.
Thank you so much for stopping by and for reading my post.
God bless...🙂🙏❤
So cutee. The dog haha so cutee I want to have that dog haha @arashi0416
I am glad your family and you were not forced to evacuate because you have another safe place to stay. And considering that it was a bigger one, your stay must be comfortable, aside from your clothes😅. Still, I can see you are safe and sound on that new house. Tyhoon is really scary, especially now that earthquakes shake the ground of the country and typhoon hitting is another source of fear. Keep safe and be alert. May God protect you and your family always.❤️❤️❤️
