Fungi Friday - Mushrooms that look like bark
Hi mushroom lovers, in the humid weather this week, the area around our house has grown beautiful mushrooms that I was able to photograph for my participation in the #FungiFriday challenge organized by my brother @ewkaw.
Today I managed to find a beautiful mushroom growing on a tree trunk that had been lying on the ground for a long time and wet with rainwater, the name of this mushroom is Polyporus ciliatus Mushroom, this mushroom is bright yellow with a stem that looks white, this mushroom grows in pairs close together, the other mushroom looks smaller and has the same type.
The bottom of the mushroom's petals looks like it has a texture of small cavities, different from most mushrooms with the bottom of the petals that look like they have a striped pattern, this is one of the beautiful mushrooms that really caught my attention today, when I saw this mushroom I immediately liked it from the first glance.
The top of this mushroom also looks like it has a beautiful shape that looks like tree bark, the top of the mushroom petals is orange and there is a small hole in the middle, around the mushroom petals it also looks like it has beautiful fine hairs.
Not only one, today I also found another beautiful mushroom, the second beautiful mushroom that I managed to find today is the Southern cinnabar polypore mushroom, this mushroom grows on a coconut tree trunk that has long been dead and is always exposed to rain.
This mushroom is orange and does not look like it has a stem, this mushroom grows like its petals only and looks like a beautiful shell, what makes this mushroom look even more beautiful is that on the side of the tip of the mushroom petals it looks covered in beautiful circular white lines.
These are two types of beautiful mushrooms that I can share with my friends this Friday, thank you for those of you who have visited my mushroom post today.
Thank you for your support, @scrooger and @qurator
Hello @aquagelas
What beautiful mushrooms you found! They're all very striking, but the first species is amazing.
