Fungi Friday - Milky white fungus and Honey yellow fungus

Hi friends who love mushrooms.

Today I want to hunt mushrooms again for the #FungiFriday entry by @ewkaw. Usually, in January there is no longer a rainy season in Indonesia, but this is different in 2024, it feels like the rainy season will never stop, even though the scheduled dry season has arrived.

However, I really enjoy the rainy and humid weather nowadays because I can happily hunt for mushrooms. White, clean, small and beautiful, these are the characteristics of Oudemansiella mushrooms or what we usually call forest mushrooms.

This tiny mushroom only grows on every tree trunk that is dead and submerged in water. Today I found it growing on one of the tree branches. Different from usual today, the mushroom I found grew alone and only one of them seemed to be blooming beautifully.

The stems and petals grow beautifully and are pure white in color which looks absolutely perfect, but unfortunately this beautiful mushroom cannot be consumed because it is poisonous.

Then, not far from here I again found two mushrooms of the same type growing on the roots of a weighed coconut phon. The spots on the petals or mushroom umbrellas look very beautiful, like very fresh honey.

The golden color mixed with brown and a little red makes this mushroom look very nice when you look at it, it's a shame that this mushroom is also inedible, aka poisonous.

Hunting mushrooms in damp places can be a lot of fun, today I photographed the mushrooms above using a Samsung Galaxy A33 smartphone with the addition of a macro lens.

This is my entry for today's Fungi Friday, see you in the next post.

Beautiful species of mushrooms you found there! The white one is looking so cute and innocent, but I bet itโ€™s not edible ๐Ÿ˜‰

Wow, what a beauty! I love this community, but there are only a few mushrooms where I am. I'm glad the rainy season continues so you can find these little treasures, even if they are poisonous or inedible, haha. The photos are also spectacular and captured my attention. I send you a hug
