A rug pull is not actually a scam. It is market manipulation, not outright fraud.
Its gambling. As any gambler should know: "The House Always Wins."
Memecoins are simply an example of "A fool and his money are easily parted"" and " Caveat Emptor".
Why anyone with a brain would put their money into one is beyond me.
The risk of losing your shirt is well known.
Its not like anyone who did a modicum of research would be deceived and not know of the risks.
People just like to gamble I suppose.

Edicted has slowly made me see it in the same way you are describing... to use the young kids language: Degens are going to degen.
I do wonder if this is signaling a top tho... it sure seems like it.
