What are you thoughts on mutually assured destruction in regard to all of this? Do you think the powers that be would be willing to risk such? I personally get the feeling they will keep doing proxy situations because they realize that a literal full blown war will end in a scorched Earth scenario.

I think this is a very risky bluff by our governments. Our existence is at stake. But it happened because, apart from greed and lust for power, our rulers are trying to balance on the brink of folly.
If we compare the actions of the Russian army in Ukraine with the actions of the Israeli army, for example, or the US army in Yugoslavia and the Middle East, it becomes obvious that the West is dealing with the greatest humanist of our time. And that the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, since the Second World War, is the conflict with the least number of civilian casualties!
It could have ended very quickly, but I wouldn't have met you here then)))))

Did you ever see those pics of Bush and Putin and other world leaders all together wearing what look like Freemason robes?

I could be wrong, I admit I don't know a lot.
But, I personally get the impression that world politics is similar to National politics and so on, the people at the top tend to work together and pretend to fight each other... Sort of like fake professional wrestling.

I personally believe that the secret societies in power already own and run the majority of governments in the world. I think they want us to identify with certain groups so much that we fight each other, divide and conquer instead of focusing on the people in power we identify with our Nation or political party or religion or whatever.

The fact anyone would pick up a weapon and harm another in the name of government shows they have succeeded highly in separating us from each other our hearts and our commonalities.
As long as we fight and fear people because they are in a different group or "tribe" we will continue to be fractured and unable to find our highest potential. (in my opinion)

Politics is a dirty game in which you often have to smile and cooperate with strategic enemies to get what you need. On the same chessboard, along with clown puppets, there can be really influential leaders who are concerned about the interests of the population of their own countries. At least I want to believe that

Yes, all that makes a good amount of sense. Yet... I still tend to think that the world is mostly sewn up and most of what we see is theatre akin to the movie "They Live" or "Wag The Dog" and that the ones at the top pretend to fight in order to convince us there's something worth fighting about and while we all fight each other they party together secretly behind the scenes at Eyes Wide Shut parties. The age old concept of "Divide and Conquer"... We're too busy fighting each other to focus on them.
