AFRITUNES WEEK 175//Haske by Kaestrings(cover by @aowilson)
Hello every one, I go by the name @aowilson, your favorite guitarist. This is AFRITUNES WEEK 175, and I decided to share a wonderful cover of one of my favorite songs with you. Trust me you're gonna enjoy it. The title of the song that I will be singing is Haske, and it was sung by a Nigerian gospel artist, Kaestrings. Haske means light, it's in Hausa language and it is a very popular song.
So now, like I said, Haske means light and the song is simply declaring Jesus Christ as the light. I was wondering what song to share with you guys this week and then I thought I should choose this one because the days are really getting darker. The days are really getting worse by the day, things are going haywaya, things are going in different directions and people scattering like a sheep without a shepherd. It's nobody's fault per SE but it's still our fault because we failed to acknowledge the one who can be of help to us.
So with an open heart the song surrenders to the leading of the Lord Jesus Christ, it says where you go I will go. Just like when Peter answered Jesus Christ when he asked his disciples in the book of John. After he preached to the people that they must eat his flesh and drink his blood to love, and the people left. The 12 remained and Jesus asked them, what about you, won't you leave too?
Peter said, Lord to whom shall we go to? In you we have found life.
For that fountain of life to keep flowing in you, you must always follow his leading and government. You must go where he goes, stay where he stays and leave where he leaves.
As you listen to this song, remain blessed.
Peace out ✌️ 🫴
