Bireuen is increasingly vibrant, the city center has always been an alternative tourist spot for residents who want to relax for a moment with their families, where coffee shops are the main let Mar of this city with various names and holding their main arabica menu, they are attracting customers who are increasingly leaving robusta which decades ago was the Prima Donna business community of entrepreneurs, In addition, this city is also increasingly advanced with its increasingly charming city architecture and also its increasingly improving traffic with very smooth roads.

Hello, my friends, welcome back to this wonderful community.

This time, I'd like to share with you some of the images I captured in Bireuen. So, please follow me to see Bireuen up close through my blog.

Half an hour after the call to prayer for midday prayers, a friend and I headed to downtown Bireuen, of course, just to stroll around and enjoy the scenery.

Our main goal at the time was to visit one of the coastal tourist destinations located in Jangka. We also took some time to explore Bireuen and take some photos to share within this beloved community.

My friend!!
Bireuen used to have several cinemas, from elite to budget, affectionately known as PHR. However, after being struck by civil conflict, all of these cinemas have closed down. Some of the buildings have been converted, and others have been demolished to make way for shops. To this day, in my area, there is not a single cinema in the capital.

About 10 km to the east is Matang Glumpangdua, one of the busiest sub-districts in Bireuen City.
This city is also known for its numerous mosques. Here are some images I captured in the Matang Glumpangdua sub-district, where one of the mosques is being built, with architecture that I personally find extraordinary.

My friend!!
This city is also known as The City of Struggle, where the people were once very steadfast in fighting for independence from the colonialists during World War II.
The monument you see in the picture above, located at the intersection of 4 cities of Bireuen, is one of the government's awards to the people there, where this monument has become an iconic icon for my city and for me this city will never die because it is in a strategic position, this city will pulsate 24 hours because passers-by will definitely make this city a place to relieve fatigue.. yes, because the road in this city is a national road. That might be one of the reasons I made the statement above.

We also took a short break at the Gapu Paint Field, the city's only stadium.
There, I saw several competitions being held, which are still part of the commemoration of my country's independence day, Indonesia. Furthermore, this field also has a very long history, one of which is being the landing place for Indonesia's first president to arrive in my city during the conflict, which later made this city the temporary second capital of Indonesia at that time.

Beside the field, there are also several monuments that local residents use to spend time there while enjoying the atmosphere of the Cat Gapu Stadium.

And as you can see in the images I've shared above, there are many national symbols that were installed before August 17th to celebrate Independence Day.

The Jempa King Monument serves as a tribute and a silent witness to the city's former glory as a kingdom.

This monument was built in a village in the Jempa sub-district of Bireuen Regency, where the kingdom once stood.

Well, my friends, those are some images and a short article from this article about the city of Bireuen.
I hope you all enjoyed and enjoyed what I've shared.
Greetings, everyone. See you in my next post.
