Banda Aceh City is a city and also the provincial capital of Aceh Province, Indonesia.
As the center of provincial government, Banda Aceh City is the center of economic, political, social and cultural activities.
Banda Aceh City is also the oldest Islamic city in Southeast Asia, where Banda Aceh City was the capital of the Aceh Sultanate in the past, and is currently known as the City of Serambi Mekkah.

Well...
On this occasion I want to share some pictures about the city of Banda Aceh with a little short writing from me.

Traveling around the city of Banda Aceh is very enjoyable.
This city used to be called Kutaraja before being changed to Banda Aceh around the 1960s.
One of the reasons I like traveling around this city is that violent crime is very minimal, this place is very peaceful and cars on the road are not too crowded and not too quiet, and most importantly the road is very smooth with adequate success

The city became internationally famous after the Indian Ocean earthquake on December 26, 2004. Now the city of Banda Aceh is starting to rise from its slump, and has become the economic mecca of the province of Aceh.

The monument at the Simpang Lima Banda Aceh roundabout has been standing for a long time.

Since then, this monument has changed shape several times.

The current monument was built by Bank Bukopin in 2016 and inaugurated in 2017, if my friend looks in more detail, you will see the bank sponsor listed on the monument.

And regarding the location, the monument is in the heart of Banda Aceh City.

Then regarding the green environment, this city has many parks that provide a comfortable atmosphere with a very clean environment.

Even this city has been nicknamed the cleanest air city in Indonesia.

And now the AQI of this city is at 0-50 (green), meaning that the air quality is in the good category and does not pose a health risk.

As I said at the beginning.
This city was once nicknamed Kutaraja, and to commemorate this history, the Kutaraja monument was also built.

This city has many monuments.
And this monument was built to commemorate the tsunami in 2004.

This monument was built for appreciation, where this city received appreciation from the government as the cleanest city in Indonesia.

It is a pride for me to have the cleanest city in my beloved province, and I think it is appropriate to build this monument as proof that this city is one of the best cities in Indonesia
