Indonesian Independence Day // Follow me to see the excitement of the pole climbing competition, then go to the beach to enjoy the beauty of the sunset.

Happy Birthday Republic of Indonesia!! Just a few days ago, we and I personally celebrated not only freedom from colonialism, but also the freedom to feel and appreciate the extraordinary natural gifts of Indonesia, especially Aceh, from the mountain peaks to the blue ocean. Let's enjoy the beauty of this country while continuing to preserve it. Independence!!

Good evening, my friends, wherever you are.
This time, I'm back in this community to share my blog.

On this occasion, I'll share some pictures I've captured, as well as a short article about the independence of the Republic of Indonesia, which held an exciting competition, namely climbing a greased pole, and enjoying the natural beauty of Babah Kuala, a beach in my area.

If you've been following my blogs lately, a few days ago I accompanied a friend to her partner's house. This is also a tradition in my area called Intat Linto Baroe.

Dear friends,
During the trip, I and several friends also took some time to visit several tourist destinations along the way.

And, while carrying out this tradition, a very important event in the history of my country, Indonesia, also occurred. It was a few days after Indonesia's independence. During the trip, I witnessed several competitions held, which are synonymous with Indonesian Independence Day: the Pinang Climbing Competition.

And this time, I'll share some images of the competition. These are images I captured on my way to a sub-district in Bireun City to witness the excitement of the pinang climbing competition. The sunny weather added to the excitement of the trip.

As I mentioned above, besides the spirit of nationalism, Indonesian Independence Day also serves as a moment that unites the surrounding community, as it is always enlivened by various competitions. One of these is the "Panjat Pinang" (Grease Tree Climbing) competition, which has become an icon of Indonesian Independence Day. It's also held in the districts of Bireuen. These are some of the images I captured while witnessing the excitement in one of the districts in Bireuen.

My friends...
In these images, you can see that this moment truly unites the surrounding community. Although the "Panjat Pinang" (Grease Tree Climbing) was held simply, the surrounding community truly enlivened the occasion.

However, if we look at its history, it is a bit unfortunate because this competition has such a dark history, which was originally connected to the ghost festival, in Indonesia, climbing the pinang tree began to be known since the Dutch colonial period around the 1930s and I think it is not the time for us to discuss this history because this time we should welcome this moment with excitement, fun, togetherness and success.

This competition teaches the importance of cooperation and mutual support to achieve goals.

The prize at the top of the areca nut tree symbolizes freedom that must be achieved together. Once achieved, the prize is shared equally as a symbol of justice.

Now, climbing the areca nut tree is a form of entertainment and cultural heritage that teaches solidarity and fighting spirit.

You can see this in the images I've shared above, where they work together with one goal: to win and reach the top to claim the prize, which can be shared equally and symbolizes justice.

Then, on this Independence Day, I felt I should personally be grateful. We should celebrate the freedom we fought for by enjoying the beauty of nature. One of the natural beauties I can enjoy in my own region is Babak Kuala.

These are some pictures from the trip to Babak Kuala after enjoying the August 17th competitions.

To enjoy the beauty of the sunset on the beach, I don't need to go far because in my own area there is an area called Babah Kuala, where I can enjoy the beautiful sunset view with stunning light on the western horizon, if you can watch the sunset on the beach, then I think it is an extraordinary thing where at that time you can see the beautiful view with a very calm atmosphere, and here there are also lots of local residents who do things like enjoying the sunset or just fishing to relieve a little fatigue from life in the world

As you can see in this picture, besides enjoying the extraordinary natural beauty of the sunset, this place is also a perfect spot for those of you who like fishing. There are several large rocks neatly arranged, making it very comfortable for fishing.

Okay, friends, those are some pictures and a short article from me on this blog. I hope you all enjoyed and were entertained by what I shared this time. That's enough for now. Greetings everyone, see you on my next blog.
