FungiFriday//Travel and The results of this Friday mushroom search.
Hello all my friends
My friends!!
Mushrooms are a type of plant that does not have leaves and does not bear fruit. Mushrooms reproduce by spores and are usually umbrella-shaped. Mushrooms also grow in watery or damp areas, sometimes also on rotten stems. The term mushroom is also often equated with fungi.
On this occasion I want to share my journey to find Friday mushrooms in this week's challenge and don't forget I will also share the results of the search, so keep reading this post.
Okay my friends, below are some pictures with a short story from my journey, I hope you are all entertained and like what I share at this meeting.
My friend!! The weather during the mushroom search this Friday was very bright, the sky looked so beautiful, but previously at night there was a little rain that wet our area, and I think that thanks to the rain last night, mushrooms were a little easier to find on this bright day.
then I decided to look for mushrooms on this challenge to my banana plantation.
The beginning of the trip was still very pleasant because the road was very good plus the weather was very bright
And this is the beginning of the real adventure, after taking a good road for a few minutes later I was greeted with a path leading to a banana plantation.
Long story short, I arrived at the banana plantation and let's see what mushrooms we found on our Friday mushroom hunting adventure.
Lentinellus
My friend!!
The first fungus I found was Lentinellus.
Lentinellus is a genus of white-rot, wood-rot, lamellate agaric fungi in the family Auriscalpiaceae, characterized in part by rough-walled amyloid spores produced on lamellae with serrated edges. Typically, the thick-walled hyphae in the fruiting body are partly amyloid, and the mushroom often has a sour (burning, spicy) taste. This widespread genus is estimated to contain 15 species. My friends, you can see clearer information here

Mycena
Then I found the second mushroom, which I found on one of the fallen and rotting palm trees. Rarely more than a few centimeters wide, this mushroom is characterized by a small cone- or bell-shaped cap and a thin, fragile stem. Most are gray or brown, but some species are brighter in color. Most have translucent, striped caps, which rarely have curved edges. The gills are attached and usually have cystidia.https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mycena
Sea urchin mushroom
Then I tried to enter the bushes and finally I found a unique mushroom, namely the sea urchin mushroom. This mushroom is pink and has hair on it. And when I noticed this mushroom almost resembled a glass cup. (What do my friends think)
Bird's nest mushroom
Still in the bushes I also found another unique mushroom, the bird's nest mushroom and I think this mushroom is also the same species as the sea urchin mushroom. However, there are slight differences between the two and one of them is the color of the mushroom.
And I found the next unique mushroom.
This mushroom is very small, I found it growing on a small twig that was directly on the ground, even when I compared all the mushrooms with my thumb, my thumb was bigger.
And I think this mushroom is the same species as the first mushroom.
Oyster mushroom
And the last mushroom I found on my Friday mushroom hunting adventure was the oyster mushroom.
This mushroom is pure white in color and is edible.
Then after finishing the mushroom search, I took a rest at one of the stalls in the village. When I got there, there were some of my friends drinking coffee, I immediately joined them and while we were drinking coffee, I also had time to take some pictures there.
Alright my friends!
That's my adventure looking for Friday mushrooms this time with some of the results, hopefully you all like and are entertained by what I share in this meeting and I say a thousand thanks to all of you who have taken a little time to read my post this time.
Greetings everyone and see you at the next meeting.
