"A Journey to Bener Meriah Filled with Sorrow, an Area Struggling to Recover from a Natural Disaster"

Almost three months after being hit by the flash flood and landslide disaster, the conditions in our area, one of which is the Bener Meriah area, still show very real and heartbreaking scars.

Good evening, my friends, wherever you are. I hope you are all healthy and happy so you can go about your daily activities as usual. I hope you all have a wonderful day.

If you've been following my blogs lately, I traveled to Bener Meriah with friends over the past few days. During my trip, I passed through an area severely affected by a natural disaster. The situation was very tense in that area, even though time has passed, almost three months after the disaster.
However, the scars left in that area remind us of the devastating impact of the disaster on this area.

So, please continue to follow my blog to see some images of the damage, along with short articles from me.

As I said above, a few days ago I had the chance to travel to the Bener Meriah area with my friends and during the trip, one area caught my attention because of its very tense atmosphere, which had been almost 3 months since the disaster. However, in this area the situation was very tense and the traces of the disaster were still clearly visible.

Bener Meriah is a highland region in Aceh, offering stunning natural beauty with stunning landscapes and a cool, pristine climate.

However, unlike other areas here, there are no crowds or people enjoying the natural surroundings. Instead, there are tents housing local residents affected by the natural disaster. They are helpless, leaving behind all their belongings. Their only shelter is tents erected by the local government on the side of the road. They are also hoping for government assistance to survive temporarily.

The scars of this natural disaster are very severe in this area to this day, where along the road we can see the scars of landslides

Apart from natural disasters such as landslides and flash floods, this image shows something strange: logs carried by the torrential rain.

My friends...
From this, we can learn that sometimes natural disasters don't just happen; rather, at certain moments, this is nature's way of showing us that what we do is what we will also experience.
The forest damage in this area is so severe that the forests have been completely cleared, which often leads to flash floods during the rainy season.

On our journey, we passed several bridges, one of which was a tourist destination for camping before the natural disaster.
However, the disaster has struck the area, leaving behind scars. It was once a place to gather and enjoy the pristine natural surroundings under the bridge, where the river flows directly into the vibrant tropical forest.

Now, the atmosphere has changed. It's very eerie, as you can see and imagine in the image I've shared above.

Lastly, we also stopped by one of our friends' homes, where the natural disaster also affected their home, though not as severely as the surrounding community.
In these images, it can be seen that the house was only a few meters away from collapsing due to a landslide.

Okay, friends, those are some images and a short post from me on this blog. I hope for your prayers, especially for those affected by this natural disaster. I also extend my heartfelt thanks to all of you who have taken the time to view and read my blog to the end.

Please leave your comments, support, and input, which means a lot to me so I can create a better blog in the future.

That's all for now.
Greetings, everyone.
See you in my next blog.
