The Majestic Lumad Binukid Down Deep to the Remarkable " Alalum Falls " in the heart of Sumilao Bukidnon

I am travelling seems to an out of this world! When staying at home became sucks and travelling to Bukidnon became my escape and seeing the stunning beautiful mountains makes me ask my self "Am I still in this world ?" I cant imagine the alluring beauty of this nature and mountains that makes me wants to stay and I wish that I could live here permanently.

Not only the mountain nature is espectacular but witnessing the "Alalum Falls" is breathtaking.It's amost 2 decades I have never seen a waterfalls in my life but today I feel so blessed that it didnt take so difficult for me to travel the Alalum waterfalls as it is nearby the highway.Unlike last time that I travel to Kilawaan it took 2 hrs to travel and 1 hour hiking beside the risky mountain.

Today we travel to Bukidnon by Bus around 7 am in the morning with my kids and drop by at Municipality of Sumilao Bukidnon since our relatives that were about to visit in Bukidnon is close to Sumilao so we stop at Sumilao highway near the municipality hall so we could witness the Alalum falls.

How to get to Alalum Falls Sumilao Bukidnon :

1. From Cagayan de Oro City Agora Bus terminal you need to take a Rural Transit Bus and the fare is 200 pesos or 3 to 4 HBD.

2. While your travelling by Bus you can also check the google directions just type in google chrome the Alalum Falls and the map will show you the directions as the same direction the bus will take you and you can tell the driver to drop you at Sumilao Municipal hall.

1. Google direction in chrome will tell you that you have arrived in Alalum Falls and you will know that your already there because Alalum falls is just in front of Sumilao Municipal hall.

We stopped at Sumilao Municipal Hall and we saw the signage of Alalum Falls and we entered the entrance and there is no fee required.There is a "Tourism and Pasalubong Center " you can see before proceeding to the falls you need to login your full name and address.

If you like you can also buy handmade native bags and jewelry made by lumads in Bukidnon as souveniers.We proceed to the stairs going down to the waterfalls but even if you dont go down you can still see the beauty of the waterfalls.I am so amazed I thought I wouldnt have a chance to visit such as this astonishing watefalls ever in life again.

It's so easy to get here unlike the other waterfalls that you need to walk for 1 to 3 hours before to get there and I am not so much fan of too much walking to shortness of breath so most of my travels are on beaches.

But if there is a travel destination that can be ride by car or motorcycle with no long walks and mountain climbing I would love to do so.I took my chances to took some pictures of the waterfalls and me coz it only happends sometimes.

Although it was scary and you need to be carefull while taking the stairs or you might slip down the dip thats why it is called as Alalum Falls derive from the word down deep falls.
