Our First 2024 Family Escaped Mangga Hills Pool

Hello again, Asean Hiver's and friends! First and foremost, I would like to congratulate myself for getting back to writing, particularly in this community. I truly enjoy writing back and sharing our activities here in this community. I had been away from writing for a while due to being too busy with work, but I finally found time to create a post and participate in the challenges in this community.

I am very inspired to write now because of my Asean Hiver friends who are very active here and keep motivating me to get back into writing as this is my first passion since 2017.

Today I'd like to share with you all our first Family Getaway in the year 2024. Yesterday was Family Day. I spend time with my children swimming at Mangga Hills Pool, which is nearby where we live.

I surprised my kids by taking them to the swimming pool, which they had been wanting to do for a long time. I bought some foods to bring to the pool and asked them to prepare their stuff because we were going for a swim.

They were excited when they found out we were going to the pool. We then take a taxi to Mangga Hills Swimming Pool. It only takes 30 minutes to get there by taxi. Once there, we pay for the entrance and the cottage.

We started eating when we got to our cottage. We had some grilled chicken, grilled pork, junk foods, and drinks. They were getting too excited to go for a swim. Actually, I swim when it was already night time because even though it was Sunday and Family Day, I still needed to work online.

So, while I am allowing my children to swim and watching them, I am also working because I have to work as a single mother and sole provider most of the time. If I do not work, I will have no funds to support my children's needs and studies.

My kids made some new friends there because the kids are so friendly. I made sure they were wearing their safety swimming life jackets and arm floats. When they got hungry, they just came out of the water and went back to our cottage to eat.

The kids swimming start in the morning till night then I swim with them but I didn’t had the chance to take a picture of myself in the pool because I am enjoying to swim also. I like the water because its not cold.Actually we end up till 10 pm and the staffs told us that they will be closing already.

We made certain that we captured some memorable photographs of them for this 2024 1st family get-away. I am confident that they had a great time on that day and that the next day would be back to normal with them returning to school.
