Take note of the spin put on the numbers.
Instead of pointing out a 78% reduction in inflation, it's presented as 22% of what it was.
A far less inflammatory characterization.

Nonetheless, I guess we can see why this wasn't discussed openly before being handed to us as a fait accompli.

I sure wouldn't want to be the person that had to publicly defend a 78% reduction in rewards because the greediest amongst us have to have rules coded for them to keep them from sucking it all up and dumping it.

Self discipline? Heaven forbid!

So, here we are, realizing that what all those thousands of people tried to tell us over the years was essentially correct.

Is this a good time to discuss empowering flags to hit either curation rewards, author rewards, or both?

Are you are tired of paying your masters to bomb children in far away places?
Perhaps it is time you pushed back on that.
A simple way that anybody can do that is to hoard your coins.
The fed buys coins at face value from the mint.
A dollar of change in your pocket is a dollar of value out of the banksters' pockets.
Stop playing in their shell game that allows them to play in the amusement parks from hell and shop in the human grocery stores.
