Ya know, dear reader, the price of hive could be set by folks not selling any for less than the generally agreed upon price.
There are few enough of us here to manage this consensually, if only we come together as a crowd to make it happen.

I fear that we have crossed the inflation rubicon and now the inflation cannot overtake the largest holders.
Essentially cementing control in 'their' hands.
Our only hope of overcoming is for enough of us to band together to buyout tptb.

I've long said the power to price ratio is such that anybody that can math won't buy in, but maybe vsc can mitigate some of the lack of speculative demand.
Or, we hivizens can just do it ourselves.

Those with enough hive on the exchanges to overpower the current powers that be instead control the price on the market.
I would assume the group to be pretty small.
The authors bleeding us are not holding and trading on exchanges, ergo, they are selling to people that already have 'too much'.

This is a function of the bad curation in the hive.
IF you are voting rewards to extractors, you are the problem.

There are no bad posts, only bad curation.™

IF we gather together a crowd of poor people that only want to spend it all as fast as they can get it, we deserve to live in poverty.
IF we gather a crowd of frugal people waiting for the moonshot to enrich us all, or at least a 5usd floor, we will never get there tolerating bad curation attracting the improvident.
