Hello everyone, this is AfriTunes Week 173. I’m Anniebest, and it’s always fabulous to be here!
For this week’s rendition, I’ll be doing a cover of the song titled “Oghene Do” by Frank Edwards. The title “Oghene Do” means “Thank You, Lord”. It is a heartfelt song of thanksgiving to God for all He has done.

The first part of the song says:
“Whenever I pray, Lord, hear me. Whenever I call, Lord, You answer. I’m not alone since I know… What can I bring to you but a song of praise.”

This part of the song brings back a memory from my high school days as a boarding student. There were times I didn’t have much provision, and just when I was about to worry, God would show up through someone who would bless me with exactly what I needed. These moments taught me without a doubt that God truly hears and answers prayers.

But really, what do we have that could ever be enough to repay Him for the abundant blessings He showers on us? The least we can offer is our praise, thanksgiving, and glory to His holy name.
