I am finishing painting and remodeling the small space I have in the back of my house where I have some plants. I say I have some and the truth is there are more than ten 😁🤭 but seriously I don't have more plants than I would like due to lack of space here since the patio is very narrow. Most of the houses where I live in my area have very small patios and sometimes it is necessary to have plants and get sunlight, it is better to hang them on the wall like I have them located here.

I love recycling soda containers and other foods to make flower pots and hang any plants that I bring and save from the street, but before that I wash them, make the design I prefer and then make small holes in the sides to insert any rag or string and thus have the ease of hanging them on the wall with a nail. I feel that they look very pretty and give a nicer touch to the patio even if it is small.

The pots that I made myself were made a year ago when I first moved here, but I feel that they are already a bit old and need a touch of care and a little remodeling of the place. I decided to take them down from where they were, remove the rag from each one, and we started painting these pots to give them a nicer appearance, of course.

These pots in the winter season the paint they had got stained with mold and they became ugly. This color of paint that I'm using is a very light beige color, I would say bone color 🤭it is special for painting houses and the paint does not take long to dry, it is a color that stands out a lot and with a single coat I feel that the color of the paint of the pots below is not as visible, I did not find a thinner brush here at home although it was very necessary, it is only large but with the tip of one side I took a small amount of paint and painted the pots one by one.

I installed a wooden board on the wall to place enough pots of my cacti that I feel look very pretty in that place and other plants, I have placed a thick rag on each side, I will also paint this one, this is how you can see the painting process of one of the pots of my cacti.

I painted the others and let them dry. I can tell you that it took me about an hour to paint the base of the pots and put the rag back on to start hanging them. Placing them was not easy since some of the old nails were falling off, but there is no problem without a solution and I again replaced these nails with much thicker steel ones and they do hold the plants perfectly well.

I painted the metal ring that also had plants hanging there, I removed them and painted them too, I took out some plants that were old and replaced them with the little children that were being born, the easiest thing was to locate them after the pots were dry and I feel that this paint that I put on the pots turned out great, I really like this type of work because with just a few things we can make something beautiful like I have made these pots by recycling bottles and painting them, after a few hours of work I could already see the final results, which I am loving very much, I like how my space turned out, what did you think?
