✨My Aspasias of Miletus (My experience)✨[ES|EN]

Hola !! Bienvenidos queridos visitantes 🪷.| Hello!! Welcome dear visitors 🪷.
¿Quién es esa mujer callada que forma parte de nuestros círculos sociales o historia, que es la razón de lo que somos hoy en día?...
Who is that silent woman who is part of our social circles or our history, who is the reason why we are who we are today?...
Inspired by the idea from @emiliorios, which I found very interesting, and encouraged by @stefany0720 to reflect on this aspect that I hadn't had the opportunity to explore before, I decided this was the right time to thank those people who have been behind my achievements and the goals I have set and accomplished, despite the difficulties, and who have contributed to who I am today.
To refresh my memory a bit, and after researching more about Aspasia, I realized that she was a philosophical teacher and companion of Pericles in Athens. I also learned that she was a key figure in the intellectual and political circles of the time, and it is believed that she played an important role in the education of Socrates and other thinkers. Her home was a center for philosophical and cultural debate, and her legacy as an intelligent and eloquent woman makes her a symbol of strength and independence in a patriarchal society.
This has given me much to think about regarding my Aspasias, and looking back at my life, I will start with the person who has always been there and has had such a great influence on my life: that exemplary teacher. With her good advice, even when I knew nothing about life and couldn't defend myself, she was there unconditionally, showing me her love. She is one of the first people I can say I am very proud of, that Aspasia who was willing to teach and guide me, even with my mistakes and despite how difficult it could be to learn things I had never experienced. Yes... That Aspasia is my mother, my life's teacher, my driving force, my reason for wanting to keep going. My mother has always been a source of great support and patience for me; she has always tried to understand me, she has been there through good times and bad, and without knowing how to raise a family alone, she did it without complaint. And yes, she was the first person I thought of.

She has been an exemplary and capable woman, living a good life despite her own imperfections, just like me. I am grateful to her for teaching me so much, for all the things she taught me that have helped me throughout my life, and for her good advice, even when I didn't always like it. I knew that if she told me something, it was always for my own good. Even though my family broke apart many years ago due to marital problems, my mother has always been a pillar of strength and an example to me, showing me that giving up is never the solution, but rather to move forward with faith and strength. She taught me that even when life doesn't go well, we should always remember what we have achieved through effort, love, and dedication; to make the necessary changes because they benefit us and others, especially those we love; to be a good person and have good qualities, because, after all, what you sow is what you reap... These are the good lessons my mother has diligently taught me, and it is one of the things I am most grateful for: having her in my life, loving me unconditionally, and never abandoning me or thinking I am a failure. I am grateful to her for everything, and to God for allowing me to have her as my mother.

My second "Aspasio" has been my boyfriend, my fiancé. Since I met him, he has been an exemplary person for me because he has taken the time and shown patience since we first met to teach me many things and to always be my support. He makes my dreams his dreams, my goals his goals, and he supports me through my changes. He has much more life experience than I do, and that makes him someone I admire very much, not only for who he is, but also for how much he has struggled in life, the adversities he has faced alone and with his family, his anecdotes, his experiences, the lessons he has learned from his mistakes, and his determination to keep going despite his imperfections. These qualities make him the person I needed in my life, a source of both emotional and physical support. And although life's hardships have knocked me down more than once, thanks to his support and help during those times, I haven't given up, and I know I'm not alone. His companionship has meant so much to me. Everything he has said to me so far and his effort to never abandon me is what has motivated me to continue, to be a better person, and to achieve things I never thought I could in this life. I feel calm, I feel at peace. He is a wonderful person, someone I admire, love, and cherish with all my heart because not everyone is willing to stay when you need them, not everyone is willing to love unconditionally, and not everyone is willing to lend a helping hand... I owe him so much for always being there, for everything he has done for me, and for fighting by my side, and I hope it will continue this way for many more years...

Other Aspasia-like figures in my life have been my aunts, who have always been there for me, as have my cousins. I think we have been a family of women who have stayed united despite our differences. And I am grateful to my grandmother for teaching us to maintain this unity and for showing us love, because thanks to her, we are who we are today. We have all learned to fight for what we believe in, to be there for each other through thick and thin. Even when we face difficulties, we stay in touch, and even when some of us are far away, the love we share remains the same. I know that if we continue like this, we will always be able to face whatever comes our way. I also have to thank my grandmother for everything she has done for us, for her wonderful qualities and her love, for never abandoning us and always being there for all of us. There is so much I could say about her, but I think that simply saying that she has shown us unconditional love is more than enough...
In my life, I also have several Aspasia-like figures (both male and female), some of whom I've already mentioned, including my family. I really enjoyed this exercise; I can't deny that I had mixed feelings after reflecting on how important these people have been to me. I have immense love for them in my heart, and I am so grateful for their wise counsel and guidance throughout this journey of life. Their support has helped me become a strong person who never gives up.
