THE COFFEE SHOP PROMPT - WEEK 135: «I AM TEAM COFFEE SHOP».

Hello everyone, good morning. Today I am joining The Coffee Shop Prompt | Week 135: Sep 18 - 24. This is my response to the questions posed in the initiative:

What makes you choose coffee shops over teahouses? Tell us about anything that you find particularly appealing about your preferred choice, and add original coffee shop or tea shop photos of your recent outing.

I really prefer a coffee shop because I love coffee, but to be honest, I haven't heard of any special places to drink tea in this area. I think people here are more fond of their guayoyo, even if it comes in many forms. But what is possible, because I've asked for it a few times, is that in the city's cafés, they will make us tea if we want it, but without many varieties, and usually from tea bags.

I've noticed that going out for coffee has become a trend in the style of Parisian cafés, which I love to see in photos. And the trend is growing every day, to the point of placing cafes inside bakeries, supermarkets, mini markets, bodegas, beauty salons, and of course, authentic cafes. It has become customary to go out to run errands and stop for a coffee before or after.

Last week was one of the busiest I've had in recent months. Between everyday tasks, writing, my business venture, running errands, and taking care of my health, I sometimes had to leave very early with just a coffee, or nothing at all, and ended up having breakfast outside the house. On the day I had a doctor's appointment, not only did I eat something light before leaving, but the appointment ended around noon, and I stopped at a café/bakery called Dina, which is located in that area and has become very popular because the owners have a bakery, café, fruit shop, market, and natural juice bar in the same shopping center. There's plenty to choose from.

I found out that day that my friends from @chocobaha, who owned the café “La ventana,” had set up a commercial space for their cacao-based products, and they have many delicious items inside the Dina café. We can have breakfast, shop, have a coffee, and taste the delicacies of Chocobaha. That makes this café unique because of its size. They also serve hot chocolate and milk blends.

Since it was lunchtime, I ordered a baked puff pastry filled with ham and cheese, and had an espresso with it. I don't know what brand they use, but even though I don't drink coffee with sugar anymore, it tasted really good, wasn't too strong, and had a delicious aroma.

The atmosphere was very comfortable, with air conditioning, quite familiar, I saw people I knew, and I took the opportunity to look at all the products they had for sale. I don't go there very often because it's a bit far from my house, but it's one of the best-stocked bakeries in the area, and they always have freshly baked goods. Likewise, their breakfasts and desserts are wonderful.

I finished my lunch and coffee and went to look at the Chocobaha display case, where I saw that they had a very large selection of cocoa tea, which is one of my favorites. I still have some left. I asked them if they served cocoa tea there, and they said yes, that if I requested it, they would gladly prepare it for me. So this would be one of the cafes that perhaps serves a more original tea, but the task remains to find out if there is a tea shop in the city, and I will share the experience with you.

I bid you farewell until the next opportunity to tell you a story over coffee. Thank you for visiting my blog.

It's espresso, I like those because they always come frothy.

I agree that in many parts of the world, teahouses seem to be less encountered than coffeehouses. Where I am, while I am seeing more and more in recent years, they're still quite a novel idea. Coffee, on the other hand, as old as time, no? ;)

Yes, that's true. Coffee has always been ahead, but I'm sure that if they opened a tea shop here, it would get a lot of visitors. Lately, I've seen a lot of people drinking tea, especially at yoga classes, wellness therapies, etc. Maybe they haven't wanted to take the risk.

I agree! In some mall you can even find a small corner selling coffee . I can say it's everywhere and was surprising how we manage to find them 😁

That's right, I'm surprised by the trend that coffee shops have become, even if they're just a little corner. There's one everywhere, and the atmosphere draws us in.
